Karan glared at him with red eyes. Getting up he held Abir's sweatshirt in a strong grip, and shouted, "I don't believe it! Even if it's true I don't care! I am gonna..."
Abir smiled at his devastated state, "What are you gonna do? Hmm? Hit me?"
"YOU!" Karan yelled and pointed his finger at.
"Yajman," a pandit said, "I was called here for fixing an alliance. Where do I go?"
Abir looked at the pandit, "Aaye Pandit Ji, I will take you to everyone else." He guided him towards the living room, not before smirking at Karan.
"AHHHHHH!" he shouted in pain, "How can my Kareli do this? She can't... She loves me, and only me!" 'I won't leave you Abir Raishinghania! You took my babydoll away, I won't let you live peacefully. Not you nor that kid of yours,' Karan thought hatefully.
Living Room
Everyone was mingling merrily when Abir came in with Pandit Ji. Rakhi got up and greeted him, "Pandit Ji, now that you are here, please find a date for their marriage. This is Sameer's kundali." Rakhi handed him a paper.
"And this is Shrishti's," Dadi said. Pandit Ji smiled and started making calculations.
"Pandit Ji, do teen saal baad ki date nikal na," Abir teased, causing Shrishti and Sameer to look at him with wide eyes.
"BIKUL NAHI!" they both yelled.
"Pandit Ji, find the closest date," Sameer said.
Shrishti was about to agree when Abir and King held her hand. King whispered"Pagal hai kya tu?"
"What do you mean?" she asked.
"Come on, let him suffer a little," Abir said.
"Jijus please," Shrishti said, "that poor boy is already sandwiched between Di and his family. If I give him a hard time, I think I will become a widow before even getting married." They both laughed and covered their faces when everyone looked at them.
"King," Abir leaned into his ear, "Saali saheba is very well versed with his capability, don't you think."
King chuckled, " She very well knows she is marrying a fatoo." Shrishti stomped on their feet. "Ouch, Shrishti!" However, she glared at them and went to sit near Isha. King was frowning as he awkwardly rubbed his toes, and asked Abir in a low voice, "By the way, why are you grinning like an idiot? Kis gadhe ki shamat aayi hai?"
"Who? Me?" Abir asked innocently, " How can I trouble anyone? Don't overthink it." King elbowed him. "Kya hai!" he asked angrily.
"Tell me, else like in your wedding I will invite your exes in Shrishti's wedding too. Then try and convince Preeta," King threatened.
Abir scowled and muttered, "How about I throw you off a cliff instead?"
"Kya?" King asked. Abir shook his head. "Come on, spill!"
Abir sighed, "Let's just say, no matter what date Pandit Ji comes with Luthras have a deadline to meet."
King narrowed his eyes at Abir, and thought, 'What did he do?' He knew Abir very well. Abir might have immense patience, but he wasn't a pushover. It's just that he was used to creating perfect situations for himself. "Abir," King said in a worried tone, "don't do anything ra..."
"I wasn't going to," he replied in a serious tone, "at max, I would have made them beg in front of Pree, but who told their son to harm my child? Bhukto ab."
"Harm?" King asked in confusion.
"Don't worry, everything is thought through," he replied, " just watch the fun."
