Luthra House, Rishab's Room
"Ha Papa, don't worry we will figure out a way," Isha assured as she talked on the phone. "Ghar? Woh... Rishab is very busy and then we also have Sameer's wedding so... We will meet when you...You are not coming?" she asked in disappointment. Isha sighed and hummed in understanding.
Rishab walked into the room to see Isha sitting on the couch on the balcony and approached her when he heard her sigh heavily as she cut the call. "Isha Ji..."She looked up, startled. Lowering her head she avoided his eyes. Rishab sat beside her, taking her hand in his, "I know whatever I said downstairs hurt you, but I really didn't mean it in that..."
"You meant it or not," Isha said and took her hand back, "you know very well."
"Isha Ji..."
"How long Rishab Ji?" she asked, "For how many more years am I supposed to do this? How many years is our relationship going to stay like this?" Looking at his confused expression she laughed humourlessly, her eyes tearing up, "Really? You have never thought of this?"
"Isha Ji..."
"Stop it," she said in irritation, "just stop it! Isha Ji! Isha Ji! Enough already. In the beginning, I used to think this was you being a gentleman, but even after three years, it's still the same. Why? Rishab J... No, I am not going to pretend anymore! Rishab..."
Ring Ring
"Sorry, this is from the PR team, probably about Karan's issue," Rishab said sheepishly and walked to the edge of the balcony.
Isha looked at him with disappointment and walked out of the room. Just as she was about to sit in the car, Sameer called out for her, "Bhabhi? Are you going somewhere?"
Isha sighed, "Yes, I need some peace." Without a further explanation she sat in the car and started it but Sameer removed the keys. "Sameer!"
"You are angry right now, I will drive you wherever you want to go," he said dryly. She glared at him however, he was determined. Huffing she stepped out of the driver's seat and walked to the other side. Once in the car, he asked her, "Where to?"
"Anywhere, doesn't matter." Sameer wanted to ask her why she was so angry, but Isha turned her head around and stared into the void. Sighing he pressed on the accelerator and drove away.
Boutique, Mall.
"Shrishti, if you whine one more time," Abir said in exasperation, "I swear we will walk out of here right now."
"Jiju but this is not the right shade, Sammy and I have a specific shade of blue for..." Shrishti replied back.
Abir closed his eyes to calm himself down and looked at the rest of the family sitting down. Glaring at them, he said, "Go on, enjoy the show. Yaha pe toh maze lene hi bulaya hai, haina? Help me god damn it!"
"Why Mr Fashionista?" King said smugly, "Lost all the fashion sense?"
"Lost all my brain cells," Abir refuted, "What is the difference between this navy blue and this marine blue?!"
"This one is lighter," Shrishti said and patted a sherwani that looked identical to the other one to Abir.
"I don't know about the shade but my head is definitely lighter after handling them for so long," he muttered. He threw his head back in annoyance and said, "Just choose quickly, then we can go home..."
"Abir we still have the wedding dress to select," Sushmita reminded, "including all of ours."
King and Abir looked at each other horrified. They both yelled at the same time"NO!"
