"Aree wah Preeta, you didn't forget my voice," Sherlyn praised.

Preeta let out a soft chuckle, "People don't forget the thunder that brought calamity, and you were both. How can I forget you?" Preeta sat down on the bed in a more comfortable, almost in an arrogant, posture. Her expression was that of an owner teasing its cat.

"Then you should also know that you should never evoke a calamity," Sherlyn replied. However, she only heard a sneer from Preeta. "Preeta Arora..." Sherlyn said forcefully.

"Uhuh," Preeta interrupted, "my surname isn't Arora Sherlyn, it's..."

"Luthra?" Sherlyn asked mockingly, but yet again she got a snicker in return. "You are still in your dreamland? Then again what can I expect from a middle-class girl like you."

Preeta laughed, "I think you are the one in dreamland honey because your taunts are far away from reality."

"Preeta you..." Sherlyn said hatefully.

"Cut the chase," she said dryly, "say whatever crap you want to and stop wasting my time."

"Fine. I will say it clearly then. Break. Shrishti's. Engagement. With. Sameer. Right. Now. Else, I will make her suffer more than you. Karan only left you on a road, Sameer will push her down a cliff..."

"Done?" Preeta asked.

"Do not take my threat lightly Preeta, I ruined you last time. If you want to save your lovely younger sister then you will do as I say."

Preeta sighed. " I actually want you to ruin her because I got my intelligence after what you did to me. Maybe the same will happen with Shrishti, so do whatever you want to Sherlyn. Bye," Preeta chirped in a pleasant voice and cut the call. "It's been five years. People improve as they get older but her tactics seem to have gotten worse.

She shook her head and started to scroll through her phone, 'Sherlyn isn't the type to do nothing though. Should I or should I not take her warning seriously?' Preeta narrowed her eyes to think before dialling a number, "Hello? Are you alone?"

"Di...No, I am in the car with everyone," Sameer replied.

"Stop the car," Preeta ordered.

"Huh?"

"Stop the car," she repeated.

"Oh...Ok, driver stop the car here.... just do as I said!" Sameer shouted. "Di, we stopped."

"Get off, and go away from everyone where they can't hear you."

"Huh?"

"Do you want me to repeat everything?" Preeta asked annoyed.

"No, no," Sameer replies. "Di, I am away now," he says after some time.

"Where is Sherlyn?" she asks pointedly.

"Di... why..why are you asking?"

"Give me an answer in return, Sameer, not a question."

"She is in jail. When we found out she planned Mamu's accident we immediately called the police and got her arrested," he replies hurriedly.

"Did by any chance she get released?"

"No, she had cases of fraud, attempt of murder, and robbery on her. As far as I know, she got sentenced to a non-bailable 15 years of jail. It's not possible for her to be released. Di, is anything wrong?"

"No," Preeta replied after some moments, "actually I didn't want Shrishti to be in her vicinity, so... Anyway, you guys come here quickly else Shrishti will burst out in anger."
