I woke up to see a big note at my door. 'Do your chores NOW' it said. Ugh, I hate chores. I lied down on my bed and went back to sleep.
Mom reached home from work on the afternoon. She saw the mess of the living room not being cleaned up. She entered my room and shouted, "Steph, why are you sleeping in the afternoon?! Wake up, lazy bones!" I got up.
"And look at the mess at the living room. Why didn't you clean it up?!" Mom nagged. "Even Fany remembers to do her duties." At the same time , Tiffany appeared from the door and stuck her tongue at me. I ignored her .
"I'll do it later ," I said.
"No no no, do it now before I explode!" Mom said angrily.
"Fine !" I say , leaving my room . It is always Tiffany who gets the compliment . Me ? I'm always reprimanded. I tidied up the living room and sneakily left the house.

Days passed , and the same thing happens at each day. Wake up, get reprimanded and hear the most anoyying sentence ever: "Tiffany is better than you.". What about me? Why can't I be loved by my mother?
I called for Mila. I needed her. She was the one who would listen to all my hardships. However, she was not here anymore. I had almost forgotten about that.
It was time to call my other 'counsellor', then.
"Hey, can I come over?"
"Shhh, shut up! Urm erh hello babe. Of course you can." stammered Jake. Something is fishy. Very fishy.
"Jake?"
"Y-yes? You can come over. Didn't I told you that already?!" he sounded annoyed and eventually hung up the phone. I was slightly hurt on his harsh reply, but I grabbed the car keys and left home anyway. While I drove, I began to have thoughts. When he replied me earlier, I heard a deep breath. The breath does not sound like him at all. I was confident that its....
A girl.
Or maybe I was just thinking too deeply.
Or maybe I was right.
All my deduction was answered when I opened the door without knocking. My first sentence was:
"WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE?!"
The house was a total mess, and a surprise was waiting for me.
"Hi," said a voice. Without thinking, I looked back.
"MUSTARD AND MAYONNAISE FOR YOU, YOUNG LADY!"
That was Jake.
Along with some random kids.
Squirting mustard AND mayonnaise at ME.
"OH MY GOD! WHAT THE?!" I shouted in shock and in anger. However, I had a brilliant idea. I took out my facial cleansor from my bag and aimed for everyone.
"Lets see who'll win!" I locked my eyes on Jake. I'm going wild. Some of the kids went to my side.
"Bring it on!" . The crazy fight had officially started.
This was an awesome attempt on comforting me from the stupid home life that kept killing me. We were having so much fun when suddenly , the doorbell rings.
"I'm ho- WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE?!?! WHERE DID THESE RANDOM KIDS COME FROM?!" Oh-uh. Its his mother. I quickly escaped from the back door. Jake followed me to the door.
"Thanks so much for today. You totally light up my world." I said. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a One Direction fan. Anyway... "How did you know I wanted to call you?"
"Its a secret," he smirked I gave him the curious eye.
"Now go!" he said while letting go of my hand.

Someone greeted my entrance home with a bellow.
"STEPHANIE ROSELINE COOPER, WHY HAVEN'T YOU COOKED DINNER?!" Gosh, I could never resist Mom's complains. Plus, there was plenty of screams that I've heard today. I stared at her for a moment and sighed.
"I'm sorry, Mom. I'll go and buy some food from the food court. I don't think I have time to cook at this time."
"Okay, but its your last time going out for this month."
"But..."
"No buts. Now hurry. I'm hungry. I think Fany is, too."
Okay. Just shut up. Seriously, living with Tiffany is such a pain. I headed to the door with a broken heart. Grounded, for the 10th time.
