6: Visitation

Only a few hours had passed since Obito slept again on the bench before he went into one of his dimensions to retrieve another cloak.

He had to get up early, because Jonins and ANBU would always be around earlier than even he could be awake.

Kakashi was always the early bird, despite acting all carefree and moody. It was Obito that was always late back then.

He made sure to go back but in-between the trees. He didn't change his mask, but he did get a breather earlier in his dimension.

He made sure to hide, even though it was still quite dark out.

He stayed there for what felt like hours before he heard a branch get stepped on behind him.

He turned around, balling his fists before-

the third Hokage Hiruzen showed up. Obito's clear eye widened.

Another figure that had red eyes also appeared from beside the current Hokage.

His hands' balled fists loosened upon seeing the Hokage, but tightened them again at the appearance of another Uchiha.

I should've brought a weapon.

He didn't show his Sharingan but it seems he was already challenging the other Uchiha, which turned out to be Fugaku. The Uchiha clan head had his arms crossed as he glared at Obito.

Obito had a hood now, sadly the same one he wore when he got Minato and Kushina killed. This cloak was the only thing he had in store in the other dimension.

The Hokage raised a hand. But Obito didn't back down. He knew those tricks, those things the Hokages did. A false promise of peace.

The Hokage, seeing Obito's new tense stance, lowered his hand, and cleared his throat.

"So you are the one Minato has told me about?" he asked, but earned no answer from Obito.

The Hokage squinted his eyes at him. Hiruzen was always quick to get suspicious.

Fugaku walked a step forward at the silence before Hiruzen shook his head. Fugaku stepped back at the motion.

Despite being independent, the Uchiha are still inside of Konohagakure. The clan head would only have to obey the Hokage's orders.

Hiruzen cleared his throat again while Obito also took a step back.

"Please, we are not here to hurt you. Can you tell us what you have to do with this village?" he asked.

Obito scoffed. Only scoffed, but didn't say anything. Of course, he respects the Hokage. But right now he was only deemed a villain, not at all reaching their standards.

The Hokage frowned at his response, but before he could say anything again Obito flashed his Sharingan.

Fugaku's eyes widened at the display as well as the Hokage before a chilling, deep laugh was heard.

Obito held his mask again, his other hand dangling at his side.

"Don't get in my way, Sarutobi. My matters are not for you to see to."

And then, Obito disappeared again with another swirl of his Sharingan.

Hiruzen's eyes widened further at the voice. He held onto the tip of his Hokage hat.

He tilted it down to shadow his face.

"Hokage-sama-"

Hiruzen raised his hand and that effectively silenced the Uchiha clan head. His Sharingan deactivated.
