"...huh...?"
Speak of the Madara Uchiha himself.
-----
"Rin!" Obito loudly exclaimed as he watched Rin look around in confusion.
Kakashi's hand twitched at the Uchiha's booming tone but he didn't move any further.
Rin looked up at Obito and her eyes instantly widened. "Obito! Where are we!?"
Her face showed panic, a clear sign of it, as she jumped to her feet. Obito stood up with her and was quick to grab her shoulders before she went and started to shake.
Obito frowned at this. What did those Ninjas do to her?
He shook his head, and tightened his grip on her shoulders. His eyes shone bright with honesty.
"We're going to be all right, Rin. We've... We've been saved." he said, pausing to take breaths through his own words, making her halt.
Her breathing started to even out after a few short minutes. "Rea... Really? So we're- we're back in Konoha! We're safe! Right?"
Her question left Obito on edge as he retracted both his hands from her shoulders with haste.
She slumped ever so slightly. "Right...? Obito?"
He shook his head after a solid minute, staring at her eye to eye.
"What..." Rin trailed off, her eyes landing on Kakashi's unconscious body.
His onyx eyes bore into her, but to her it didn't matter as more fear started to bloom inside of her.
Her eyes widened again, ripping both of it purposely from Kakashi's form before--
"Rin, Tobi saved us!"
Rin flinched at the sudden loudness of the Uchiha's voice, but what he said scared her more.
Her legs started to shake. "W-what...? The rogue!?"
Her voice picked up on the volume but just then Obito made a swift movement with his head, turning it to the side to point to the person on the other side of the tree.
He watched again while Rin gaped at who they were with. Her mouth twitched as she found herself having to only believe it.
She frowned, the panic in her eyes now replaced with bold doubt.
"Hey." Tobi greeted her, his eyes still on the book he was reading from earlier.
"See? I told you." Obito said matter of factly, shrugging both his shoulders.
"...but why would he save us?" she asked, presumably to Obito. "He's a rogue." she pointed out.
Obito found himself frowning with her. "I don't know, either. He just said so, and it was definitely him that ran towards us back there." he said, looking up at the leaves.
Rin frowned harder. "So you just believed him because he said so?" she asked with disappointment.
The Uchiha stuttered. "I- I... Um..."
"What's going on?" anpther voice revealed itself.
Obito and Rin both glanced down and saw Kakashi, rubbing his remaining eye as he tried to get the sleep out of him.
A silence hung in the air while the Hatake promptly stood up, even dusting his pants in the process.
He stared at the other Chunins.
"So? What's going on- and where are we?" the silver-haired Jonin looked around whilst he asked.
"You're rather chatty today, mr. Hatake." Tobi said with a small chuckle at the end. He flipped another page to his book.
Obito saw Kakashi's fingers twitch upon hearing the familiar voice. He swiftly turned around to the direction of it and his eye widened-- "You-"
"Anyway," the 'rogue' cut him off, and he didn't like it one bit, showing his disdain at the action with a deep frown. "Did you realize just what was about to happen to you had I not swept in?"
Kakashi lost his frown as the words hit him hard. Rin's eyes widened, as she knew full well of what would have happened seeing as she was the one who blurted it out, and Obito's brows lifted in realization.
"That... That-"
"Yes, the boulder."
Tobi stood up, setting his book down on the soft grass beside him.
He turned around and faced the three Konoha children, towering over them like a boulder to a pebble.
Kakashi was already in a fighting stance but Obito didn't make a move as he only stepped in front of Rin.
The Uchiha frowned up at Tobi as Tobi showed his eye, deep and dark.
Tobi looked down at them. "You wouldn't be here breathing right now if I hadn't brought you into my dimension."
"Dimension? What are you talking about? That's logically impossible." Kakashi said calmly yet alert all at once, and Tobi sighed, shaking his head through his fox mask.
"I agree with him." Obito butt in, making Kakashi widen his eye in surprise. "There's just no way we're in another dimension."
"Then what could it be? Look around," Tobi motioned his head for them to look and look they did.
Rin was aweing at the side but Kakashi knew it wasn't possible. No jutsu had ever shown someone going through dimensions. "Then a genjutsu. This must be a genjutsu." he reasoned, snapping his eye back to Tobi.
The masked man sighed, shaking his head again before putting on his dark hood, covering his pale hair.
His mask looked exactly the same as the one Obito saw approaching him, and the other two.
"If you don't believe me when I say that I saved you... Then do as you please." he said, covering the other hole of his mask, the one where he originally gave his eye to Kakashi, the left.
The three students were making fighting stances now as Obito activated his Sharingan for any attack.
If this is a genjutsu, then surely I'd know with my Sharingan...
"But," the three flinched at another word from the masked man, "just call for me when you're in danger. I'd... Gladly help you."
Then, like when they arrived, the feeling of air sucking them in started again and all three of them were gone when they were finally sucked in and back to the real world.
The whole time Obito saw the process clearly, unlike before when the adrenaline was kicking in harder.
They were all getting sucked into Tobi's eye.
