Jennifer's POV

Three.

Two.

One.

The bell rang. Everybody cheered. Summerbreak. Amazing.

I looked behind me. Josh is already looking at me, smiling like a three year old. I looked to my right, and there Jena sat, also smiling like a three year old. Dorks.

I got out of the classroom, and hurried to my locker, to leave my books and everything that had to do with school, behind. Something tapped me on my shoulder, and it turned out to be a girl, maybe two years younger than me.

"Hi, you're Jennifer Lawrence, right?" she said and smiled.

"Yes, what can I help you with?" I asked her.

"I was just wondering if you could sign my yearbook?" she said and held her book in front of me. I smiled at her, and took a pen from my locker. I wrote my name besides Josh's. That surprised no one.

I got inside my house, and the first thing I did was to go to the fridge. zit was almost 3pm and I was starving. I got a yoghurt with some berries, and went outside to enjoy it in the sun with some music. I hurried upstairs to get my doc, and then went outside. The sun was shining really bright that day, with clouds nowhere to be seen.

I walked over to our hammock and laid down there, putting the my phone and doc on the grass under the tree. I putted on a summer list, and ate my yoghurt like that, just listening to the music, and the birds, and the quiet sound of water running down the river, in the forest behind our house. I finished my yoghurt, and the last thing I remember, is putting the yoghurt down on the grass.

I must've fallen asleep, cause I was awoken by someone opening the doors to our backyard. I opened my eyes, and wiped them with my hands, getting the sleep away. The music was still playing softly in the background.

"Jenn?" I heard my dad say from about 10 feet away.

"DAD!" I yelled, and jumped (fell) out off the hammock.

"Hi there! How's my favorite girl in the world doing?" he asked me as he embraced me in a hug.

"I'm doing great, what about you?" I couldn't contain my smile. My dad was always on business trips, and when he was home, it was mostly over night.

"Im great now! Where's your mom?" just as he said it, my moms car door made a sound from the other side of the house. My dad just smiled at me, and mouthed "I'm gonna surprise her" and I just chuckled.

I walked over to the hammock, to find two new messages on my phone. One from Jena, and one from Josh.

Jena: Omg! there's this party at Liam's tonight!! we gotta go! I'll be at ur house at 6 ;)

Josh: Hi baby. Just wanted to know if you're coming to Liam's party tonight? :)

I checked the clock.

5:30.

I responded yes to both of them, and laid down for another ten minutes in the hammock.
