Saturday 3rd May
Surprisingly, dinner went well - better than I expected. Despite comments made by no other than Ethan, it went good.
Madeline had gotten more comfortable with everyone else and even gossiped with Mom and Scar. Dad had made some jokes here and there which made her laugh and Ethan - Ethan was just Ethan.
Currently, we're in the car making our way back to her apartment. After saying goodbye to everyone., Madeline had invited Scar on a shopping trip with her and Kennedy which S are agreed almost immediately.
"That went better than expected", Madeline voices my thoughts. I nod, turning to her and going a small smile as we stop at a red light.
"They love you already."
"Well I sure hope so because if not, then they're acting is impeccable", she jokes and I chuckle, rubbing a hand along my stubble chin.
"What happens when we end this? Surely they won't believe it", she states. I agree, we made it seem like we were such a happy couple and almost looked in love in some way.
Everyone already adores Madeline so me "breaking up" with her will probably take a toll on them.
To be honest, I didn't want any of this to end. I adored as much as my family does, if not, then even more than them. Her bubbly personality takes over me and the small smiles she gives once in a while makes me feel all kinds of things.
The light turned green and I make a right towards the apartment complex and park in front of it.
She clears her throat after unbuckling the seat belt strapped to her, "Wanna come in? I was gonna watch a movie with Kennedy after the dinner but she bailed on me."
"Uh sure, if you don't mind," I smile sheepishly at her and she shakes her head frantically, "I have no problem."
"Cool."
"Cool."
Is it weird that I'm nervous, I mean it's not like I'm meeting her Dad. I unbuckle my seat belt as she shuts her door. I take a deep breath and lean my head against the headrest.
You can do this.
Nothing has to happen tonight, just a movie night. Could make a move, but it could be risky.
There's a knock at my window and see her there. She furrows her brows and I nod.
She loves our the way as I open my door, shutting it behind me after.
