SUMMARY: 

Judah Young hasn't ever really had to worry about much in life. Her parents, divorced and both happily re-married, made enough money to see her into college and she's always had her best friend, Mason Rivers, right by her side. So, when Mason does the unthinkable, Judah doesn't just feel the carpet get ripped away from under her feet: she watches as her entire world disintegrates around her.

Grappling with shocking revelations she doesn't want to believe are true, Judah stumbles through the second half of her junior year at the University of British Columbia, barely holding it together. It doesn't help that Aubin Abaya, UBC's star tight-end, begins pushing the boundaries of their strictly friends with benefits arrangement, determined to help the girl he's been sharing his bed with for months when she needs someone the most.

Here we go again... 

This story follows some of the events from In Your Corner, but from a completely different perspective. It's not essential you read that before this, as it is a stand-alone, but inevitably, there will be small intricacies and details in the plot that will make more sense if you have done. 

I know I always say that I'm nervous to post a story, but if each of my other stories is a small piece of me, this is my heart on a platter. Please be kind, please be patient. Character development is one of the things that makes stories so great. 

Please note there will be mentions of rape and abuse in this story, but none of it will be depicted graphically. There will, however, be a fair few, um, graphic scenes for you to enjoy👀 These characters honestly wrote themselves a lot of the time and I think there will be parts of that you might love teehee! 

so sly by Nightly is honestly the anthem to this whole book, along with not ur friend by Jeremy Zucker, particularly part one. This whole playlist is, as usual, a real mish-mash of genres and yes, I've clearly given away that I'm a major fan of both The Band CAMINO and John Mayer. (Honestly, I originally had more of TBC's songs in this playlist but I decided I had to cut some as it was getting out of hand)
