A burden

*Seven years ago*

"Okay good night hon. Sweet dreams." Mom turned off my lights and left the room.

It was a long day, We went to All might dance concert! After that we went to the park and ate some ice cream! Watched a super hero movie! And bought bunch of toys and candy. The whole day was fun and all, probably the best day of my life! Until the night...where everything changed...he changed. Or I can say I saw the true him. I lay on my bed counting some sheep's until I heard mom and dad...arguing about something? I knew I should have gone to sleep but...they we're a bit loud. I couldn't hold back but run and open the door a little and take some peeks.

"Honey we have to talk about something." Dad sat on the chair in front of the dining table as he reached out for the apple that we're on top of it.

Oooh some tea

"Yeah? What's it about?" Mom replied and reached for the wine bottle and two cups.

"It's about Katsuki."

About me? Why would it be about me? Did I do something wrong?

"Actually it's not about his actions, it's about sending him to a certain place."

"I want to send him to the orphanage that is around our street isn't it?"

"Huh? Orphanage? What do you mean? I love my child, why would I send him there? Honey are you joking?" Mom stood up and started to get mad.

"Look, ever since he has been born into this world, we never got to spend proper time together, don't you miss the day's when it was only me and you? Whenever we spend time together, you keep on worrying about him even though we left him with a baby sitter, when I want to talk about so called "Us" you bring him up and how much he has your personality or how bubbly and cute he is. I want it to be us two again. No worries about anyone else just me and you." He reached out for mom's hand's and held them in his.

"What? What are you saying? Are you insane? He's our son, and we both love him, there is no way I'm going to do that? What's up with you? Are you drunk or something? That's it I say no, topic closed. I'm going to sleep." Mom pushed of his hands and stood up and started walking away

"Look Mitsuki, I'm doing this for both of us, after he was born, we started going apart and just not having time for each other anymore, whatever we do he is always there and it's always about him." Dad held her by her elbow and pulled her beside him.
