Chapter 19

NAGISING si Mikael na parang hinahati sa dalawa ang ulo niya, he groaned when he can't feel his one arm, a contented smile crept into his lips when he saw Ezecquiel peacefully sleeping beside him, making his arm her pillow.

Sa isipin na baka hindi komportable ang kasintahan, dahan dahan niyang inilipat ang ulo nito sa malambot na unan. He was too careful not to disturb her peaceful sleep, malamang ay napuyat ito sa kanya kagabi dahil anong oras na din silang natapos. He can't remember anything, aside from Esel and him talking.

Kumunot ang noo niya nang makitang wala siyang saplot kahit isa, he looked at his girlfriend suspiciously. He started to ransack his head but nothing, wala talaga siyang maalala. Baka hinubaran nalang siya nito at hindi na binihisan.

He sighed and kissed Ezecquiel's forehead before he gets up, he needed to talk to Ryker and the other while Esel's still asleep. Kumuha siya ng isang maroon na tee shirt at pinaresan nalang ng maong shorts. Mabilis siyang lumabas ng bahay at dumeretso sa bahay ni Ryker. He didn't bother to go to Alistair's mini bar.

Kapag umiinom sila at may natitirang matino, nagigising nalang silang mga nalasing sa kanya kanya nilang mga bahay. He didn't knock. He just barge in. Because he knew that Ryker is alone.

"Don't you think it's too early to barge in?"

Mikael side lips rosed up, when he saw him sitting in the middle of his stairs, holding a cup with a coffee.

"I don't think so, lalo na kung kailangan ko talaga ng tulong." he said and shrugged.

Ryker stood up and walk towards his cuisine, kumuha ito ng tasa at nilagyan ng instant coffee powder atsaka sinalinan ng mainit na tubig. Rykery just put a spoon before handing it to him.

"I figured. It's not just a prank, after all?" nakataas ang kilay na tanong nito. Mikael silently nod his head.

When he asked for help, he had a clear picture of what's he was going to do, and he just need his friends back up. But after thinking that his so called plan won't work, he backed out and told his friends that it was just a prank and reasoned he just like messing with them.

Wala siya sa sarili habang hinahalo ang kape niya. He's first plan was to escape, and fly to Spain. Where he knew Ezecquiel and him will live peacefully. But his mind contradict him. Kahit saan silang bansa mag punta, alam niya na babalik at babalik silang dalawa sa Pilipinas.

Mikael sighed, "yeah. I have a plan that time but it was just a sudden plan? Kusang pumasok sa utak ko. Parang hindi plano. Now, my mind is clear." he answered. He sipped on his coffee as he looked at Ryker.

"I'm all ears." Ryker said.

"I'm planning to propose, but first I need to take care of her brother first, Ciel." he sighed, "anyways how's the investigation with Ezecquiel's nanny?"

Ryker smirked, "you'll love the result. What's your plan with that moron?" he asked.

"Called the gang, asked Caleb to sedate Esel." utos niya kay Ryker. Kumunot ang noo nito sa kanya.

"You want to sedate Esel? Really?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong sa kanya ni Ryker. Mikael drank his coffee first before nodded his head. "May I know why?"

"He will not like my plan. Baka patayin niya ako bago ko magawa ang gusto ko." he answered calmly.

Esel is like a brother to him. Alam na nila ang likaw ng bituka ng isa't isa. They treated each other dearly, kahit nagmumurahan at minsan ay nagkakasikatan ng pisikalan. Pero hindi sila papayag na masaktan sila ng iba, he'll kill if anyone dare to hurt his dear brother. At ganoon din si Esel sa kanya.
