Chapter 23

HINDI naman daw ganoon kasama ang nangyari kay Ezecquiel kaya hindi na niya kailangan na mag stay sa loob ng hospital, but when Mikael's Mother heard her situation, walang nagawa si Ezecquiel kundi ang mag stay sa room nito ng isang gabi. Kahit gustong gusto na niyang puntahan si Mikael sa kwarto nito.

She smiled and caressed her tummy, hindi siya nagkamali ng kutob. But because of what her brother did... Muntik na niyang mawala ang magiging anak niya.

She sighed and calm herself, thinking about Ciel and what he did to Mikael can trigger her amd that will cause her stress.

Hindi 'yon maganda sa kanya.

"Ezecquiel, you should sleep by now." Bungad sa kanya ng Mama ni Mikael, masuyo siya nitong nginitian at inilapag ang dala nitong basket na puno ng iba't ibang klase ng prutas. "Is there something bothering you?"

Pilit siyang ngumiti at tumango, "I'm worried about Mikael, Mama."

The woman smiled warmly at her when she heard her calling the lady 'Mama'.  Nang malaman nito na buntis siya at si Mikael ang ama, ang panganay nito, pinilit siya nito na 'Mama' na ang itawag rito. Naiilang siya pero unti unti na siyang nasasanay, beside, she can feel the genuine care coming from Mikael's mother, na never niyang naramdaman sa sarili niyang ina.

She wondered how is she right now. Sigurado siya na wala itong kasama ngayon sa malaking bahay nila. Mikael's family won't let Ciel loiter around after he shot Mikael multiple times!

"Mikael is now okay, he's just resting." Sagot nito sa kanya at hinaplos ang buhok niya. It feels so warm, she closed her eyes to savor the moment. "How about to your brother? You're not worried?"

Tumiim ang bagang niya, "mama, if I am not in this situation right now. Kung ilang bala ang ipinutok niya kay Mikael, ibabalik ko 'yon sa kanya ng doble!"

"I don't think that brother of yours will survive..." pabulong nitong sabi sa kanya. Mama Michelle pulled the chair and sat down, she hold her hands and squeeze it lightly.

Ezecquiel shifted her position, "bakit po, Mama?" she asked nervous.

Alanganin itong ngumiti sa kanya, "Michael was so mad. Even Mikael's friends, muntik nang makatakbo kanina ang kapatid mo. Good thing Blade was there to caught him. As of now, Michael's let the witnesses think that your brother ran."

"W-where did h-he go?" she asked stammering.

"Michael's hid him. With the help of Mikael's friends."

"Ano hong balak nila?" she asked again.

"Who knows?" Mama Michelle sighed, "I am also mad at your brother, pero hindi ko masisikmura kung may gagawin silang masama sa kanya. I don't know his motive why he did that. All I want is his explanation right now. But if it's because he can't win against my son? Baka mabaril ko rin siya."

"I want to talk to him..." she uttered.

"Are you sure? Baka ma stress ka at duguin ulit?" nag-aalala na tanong ni Mama Michelle sa kanya.

Ezecquiel smiled, assuring the middle aged woman that she'll be fine. Gusto niyang makausap ng personal ang kapatid niya. She wants to ask a lot of questions. After that, she'll going to talk to her Father and her Mother.

Ezecquiel felt so comfortable with Mama Michelle's touch that she felt asleep immediately.

KINABUKASAN hindi pa rin nagigising si Mikael. Eze sighed and caressed his boyfriend cheek, may benda ang braso nito at may kaunting dugo pa.
