To whom it may concern,

Please find enclosed one of the few published copies of The Alastair Files, a series of reports written by Dr William Alastair in regard to Project Epiphany, a research endeavour of vital importance to the future of human society. If you have received this letter, it is because you are a fellow member of the Infected World Organisation.

To avoid this information falling into the hands of those who do not share the vision of the Infected World Organisation, the enclosed documents provide a brief description of the progress of Dr William Alastair in Phases I and II of Project Epiphany. The full details of this research will be revealed after the completion of Phase III.

Upon completion of Project Epiphany and any related work by members of the Infected World Organisation, the enclosed documents are to be sent via secure means to the Department of Worldly Defence at the Earth Alliance. Copies will also be distributed to individual national governments. This will be accompanied by a letter detailing the military proceedings that must follow.

The information contained within this document is of the utmost sensitivity and is imperative for the survival of the human race in the new world. In the event of the premature death of Dr William Alastair, all evidence of these documents, the details within them, and any information related to Project Epiphany, is to be destroyed with immediate effect. Furthermore, The Alastair Institute Psychiatric Hospital located in Shadow Creek, Siel, is to be evacuated, demolished, and its contents destroyed.

The following information is to be read only by Dr William Alastair or those with written permission from the aforementioned (such as this letter). Anyone found in possession of this document without reason will face severe consequences.
