I—I disappeared. I'm so sorry. Honestly I really have wanted to continue the story but I started uni so things are kinda hectic. I don't think I'll be updated as much as I was in the beginning. But I will do my best to release something every other Sunday. Thank you so much for sticking with this story. 😚😚😚
"Just give me your order already."
"A grilled cheese sandwich, and a caramel macchiato for me." Jesse answered before Rob could say anything else too distracting.
"Would you like your grilled cheese warmed up."
"I sometimes forget how terrible the food is here." Rob sighed.
"I don't make it. I just prepare it." Devin replied with disinterest.
"Isn't that the same thing?"
"And for you Sir?" Devin ignored Rob.
"I'll have a chicken wrap and a dark roast coffee. And yes I'd like my wrap warmed up."
"Great who's paying? And please don't do the cutesy "No I'll pay thing." I don't have the time."
"Uh First you've got plenty of time there's no line of customers. And second I'm paying." Rob extended his card to Devin.
"Nope I'll pay." Jesse replied replacing Rob's card with his, and tapping it before anyone could protest.
"And would you like your receipt."
"Hey! I was gonna pay! This is blasphemy!"
"Wrong use of the word sweetie." Jesse lovingly rubbed Rob's back.
"Anyways why are you so grumpy today Devin."
"Because Simon and Ali won't shut up about you two, and now they think we all need to have drinks together."
"Wow so stingy. Please let Simon and Ali know we would love to meet up."
"Seriously?!" Jesse and Devin said simultaneously.
"Of course, it's a great opportunity to appeal to the younger generation. We can even learn the meaning of the word "Simp""
"That's actually really smart. We can also start incorporating some of slang into public addresses."
"Yeah please don't you'll look like wannabes." Devin tried, but now the two other men were too busy plotting their take over on the new voting group. "Just take your food and go."
"Thanks Devin we'll be back tomorrow."
"Can't wait. Oh also...here are some tickets...to an art exhibit."
"What is this the man who was previously upset?...is now...giving us tickets...so we can hold hands and look cute in an art gallery???" Rob mocked
"That's some character development."
Devin and Rob both looked at Jesse strangely.
"When did you learn to say stuff like that."
"Khadijah says it some times. I picked up a couple things from her."
"You see! That's my boyfriend!"
"You don't even know what that means Mr. Jetten."
"This is true! But I will be proud of my boyfriend anyways."
"Thank you for the tickets Devin." Jesse put them in his wallet. While Rob left secret touched Jesse to make sure nobody saw.
"The more time I spend with you both the more I realize Rob is the child in this relationship."
