Hellooooooooooo. It's been a minute. How are you? Let's have a cup of tea. All warm and cozy? Okay good you can start reading... just remember I do love you☺️.

Jesse woke up not in his bed, and not beside Rob either. He found himself in a pile of blankets and pillows on the ground.

Rob woke up to find the left side of the bed empty and cold. "JESSE!"

"YEAH?!"

"WHY ARE YOU STILL IN YOUR FORT?! YOU SAID YOU'D COME TO BED!"

"...THE BOOK I WAS READING–"

"OKAY SO I'M LESS IMPORTANT THAN A BOOK!"

"YOU'VE BEEN EXTREMELY BRATTY RECENTLY!"

"THAT'S BECAUSE YOU UNLEASHED MY INNER BOTTOM.....YOU'RE WELCOME!"

Jesse stiffly walked into their bathroom. Rob was already washing his face.

"You look like a walking stick-man."

"I feel like one. I probably shouldn't have slept on the floor."

"No shit sherlock."

Jesse started his sink care routine, as Rob styled his hair.

"Jesse..."

"Rob..."

"Mr. Klaver..."

"Mr. Jetten..."

"...do we have to go to work?"

"We are payed by taxpayers." Jesse patted his face with a towel.

"But..."

"Again, we are payed by taxpayers we should probably give them their money's worth."

Rob sighed, and stared at his complexion in the mirror. I want to go to work, but I feel so...I don't know...is it slow...heavy...why don't I want to go to work?

Jesse watched as the gears turned in Rob's head. He walked to him and hugged him from behind. He nuzzled against Rob's cheek.

"We go to work, at 12:30 we eat lunch together, then we finish work, and leave together at 5:30."

"What if I need to stay longer." Rob mumbled.

"Then I'll come to your office, and just sit there and work while you work too." Jesse pressed a kiss against Rob's cheek. "I'll even buy us both lunch."

"No way! The frugal Jesse Klaver buying lunch? The world must be on fire." Rob laughed.

"It is because of global warming. Now let's finish getting ready and go to work."

"Alright, alright."

Once they'd arrived at the Kamer they shared a kiss...or multiple kisses in the car and headed off in their separate directions.

Jolene entered Jesse office and gave him the rundown for the schedule. But Jesse tuned out and thought of Rob's expression in the car. Something is wrong. I don't know what, but something feels off with Rob. And not to mention I can't help but feel things are not going to go in our favour.

"Jolene?"

"Jesse..." Jolene sighed.

"Do you ever feel like something is really off. Like there a sort of premonition in the air. Everything seems fine, and everyone is doing what they're supposed to do, but you just feel like the earth is on a slightly different axis."

"...You weren't listening to me tell you your schedule." Jolene tapped her magenta nails on her notepad.

"Sorry."
