Ummmmmmm. Over 3K reads ya'll are killing me. Thank you so much.So I'm going to make this chapter just a little longer, as a show of my appreciation and love. 😘 My dream is for this fanfic to somehow land in Rob or Jesse's lap and for them to read it to their family.☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️. In my dreams they like it, and don't think I'm crazy 😅

I want to do a holiday themed post. (Probably Christmas but if anyone prefers another holiday that would fit the narrative let me know) The problem is that it still isn't December....it might be November in the timeline but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

Jesse turned over and opened his eyes to see pink lips, and long lashes. He lifted his hand and gently placed his pointing finger on a nose. He lifted it, and hovered lightly as he traced the ridges. He moved on to eyelashes and gently brushed them. Rob hummed in response, and Jesse broke out into a soft smile.

"Good morning, love."

"Good morning, Rob."

Jesse watched the other man's eyes open.

"Hi" Jesse whispered.

"Hello again." Rob laughed.

"Do we have to get to work today?"

"Yes, we do....unless you'd like to ditch again."

"Nope. I think we owe it to the people who elected us to actually do our job."

"Ugh, why do you have to be responsible."

"Because it brings balance to our relationship."

"Ugh why do you have to be smart."

"to bring balance to our relationship." Jesse smirked, quickly got up to escape Rob's grasping arms.

"Wait, Jesse!"

Jesse did not wait. Which is how he ended up falling from the bed onto the ground.

"What the?"

"You might be a little sore....from yesterday."

Jesse looked at the apologetic smile on Rob's face.

"I can't wait to do the same to you." He said lifting himself up from the floor. He leaned against the nightstand, finding his balance and headed to the washroom.

Not before noticing Rob's wide eyes and jaw crashing to the floor.

As they ate breakfast which consisted of Jesse's buttermilk pancakes after finding Rob's burned eggs on the pan, Rob got up to pour his 3rd cup of coffee.

"Do you have clothes I can borrow, I didn't bring any,"

"As long as you promise not to poop in them,"

Rob turned slowly to face Jesse. "First of all 'poop' are you four years old? And secondly why would I poop in my...well your pants."

"Because that's your third cup of coffee, you caffeine machine."

"If that didn't rhyme I'd be more upset. And don't worry I'll find my way to a bathroom before an accident happens."

"Right." Jesse rolled his eyes as Rob walked by but not before kissing him on the forehead. "Do you want more pancakes?"

"No I'm okay." Rob placed the spoon in the dishwasher behind Jesse.

Jesse got up and placed the plates in the sink and headed back into the bathroom to get on with the day.
