Chapter 20-Baby Shower (Paul Stanley POV)

A/N: SOME SURPISES ARE IN STORE! 

Walking into the kitchen I notice that Gene of course found the cupcakes I'd made for Tommy's baby shower.

"Gene! I told you to save those for the baby shower!" Gene turns around like the proverbial kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar and I notice that his lips are smeared with frosting. I shake my head fondly at my husband.

"Lucky for you I made extra!" I shake a finger at him.

Currently we are preparing food and all for a baby shower for Tommy & Eric's twins: A boy & girl. We insisted and had to get an early start. A lot of people coming over, so hopefully it should be a lot of fun and a big success.

Gene smirked, "We can always find pleasurable ways to work it off."

"And that's why we have 5 kids.... but later Gene, I promise you.", I purred out.

"Oh, I'll hold you to that promise Paul.", Gene purred out wrapping his arms around me. Everything somehow manages to get prepared and is ready despite Gene and I making out repeatedly and our kids swarming around us begging to help. Our three daughters and 2 sons, I love our children dearly. Never a dull moment at our house, ever.

Soon People start arriving, starting with Bruce Kulick and Eric Carr aka the Fox. Oh, the Fox, his and Bruce's love story is truly an epic one. Love at first sight way back around 1984, Bruce had said it was like being struck repeatedly by lightning and Eric was a perfect fit. A few years later they had their first child around 1989 and you'd have thought Bruce was the first person on earth to become a father. It was adorable really; they had a daughter they named Haley Elizabeth. Then tragedy struck when Eric was stricken with cancer just a year or so later and they nearly lost him but thank God he recovered and today is cancer free and too him and Bruce went on to have two more kids.

"We brought lots of stuff for the babies: a girl and a boy! Oh & stuff for Tommy and Eric!", Fox exclaims at 100mph. WE call him Fox because it can get confusing having two eric's around at the same time. Bruce shakes his head fondly at his husband.

Ace & Vinnie come and Peter too. People think or tend to think we all hate each other, or ya know bad blood, not true. And funny story, Ace & Vinnie are married and have children. Yes, it's true. Truly the world's most unlikely couple, what with Vinnie having been Ace's replacement and the fact they couldn't stand each other or so we thought...until we caught them together backstage on night back during the 'Lick it Up' tour.

Of course, last to arrive are Tommy, Eric, and Harley. Such an adorable family!

"Wow everyone's here! Look Eric there's Eric, Bruce, Vinnie, Peter, Ace, Paul, Gene, and kids by the 100's!", Tommy exclaimed as they entered the house and Gene and I greeted them with laughs and hugs. It's so good, to see Tommy smile so much. He's been thru so much in such a short time these last couple of months and his traumatizing past. Eric is perfect for him. They greet everyone else in turn and Finally Tommy can sit down with Eric's help and props his feet up with a grateful sigh.

We eat of course first, Tommy practically inhaling his food. I know that feeling all too well having been pregnant five times. There is much laughter and so many conversations going on and Ace & Vinnie being mindful of the young kids running around are kissing but keeping it from being their usual style of making out, which is NOT appropriate for kids.

Soon enough Eric and Tommy are surrounded by mountains of baby gifts for their unborn son and daughter. Everything from clothes to toys and diapers and beyond. There are even gifts for Harley as well from everyone, which makes her eyes fill with happy tears and she hugs everyone in sight many times. Truly such a sweet, sweet child.

It looks like the baby shower or party is a huge success, so much love and laughter in the room. Everyone stays for a couple of hours and then says their goodbyes. Tommy and Eric and Harley are the last ones remaining.

"Paul, Gene...thank you guys so very much for doing this for us! We've got everything we need and then some! You got Tommy & I stuff for ourselves and Harley too. Everyone did, you guys...everyone are the best friends, no family there is bar none.", Eric sniffs eyes shiny with tears.

Tommy openly weeping squeaks out, "O-oh god, this is so precious!! Seriously we can't thank you guys enough!"

"It was our pleasure Tommy, thought Paul did watch me like a hawk to make sure I didn't eat all the cupcakes." Gene smirks on the last part & I roll my eyes.

"If I didn't there wouldn't have been any would their Gene?", I smirked back at him and he winked mouthing, 'Later'.... mmm. later indeed. A little while later Tommy yawning hugely prompts them to leave and go home, but not before Gene and I help them by somehow managing to fit all their gifts and stuff into their car, which trust me was truly a feat.

I turn to Gene as Eric & Tommy arrive off, "Now...let's get the kids ready for bed and then you & I have some private time."

"Better hurry then, shouldn't we babe?", Gene purrs out. Oh, the things this man does to me! I'd tell you, but we'd be here all night.

After the kids were wrangled and put to bed Gene and I went upstairs, locked our door...and Let me tell you: it was one hell of a night!
