Third person POV

Ruby held onto the back of (y/n)'s hoodie as the door slowly creaked as it shut with a loud thud. (Y/n) looked down the hallway counting all the toys left on the floor 'ruby really needs to stop leaving her toys around.' (Y/n) slowly began walking forward stepping over one of Ruby's toy babies.

Ruby held onto (y/n)s hand as she carefully walked  over the toy and began walking behind her older sister. As they walked through the hall the floorboards gently creaked underneath their feet.

They reached another dark hallway with a small yellow toy car in front of it the two girls stepped over it before they could continue another note flew into (y/n)s face. She pulled it off and began quietly reading.

Tip
Footsteps can be deafening make sure it's completely safe before coming out of hiding.

(Y/n) puts the note in her pocket before turning around and picking up ruby and holding her close to her chest. Ruby wrapped her arms around (y/n)s neck as she began walking over toys fear washed over ruby as the note from a few seconds ago still lingered in her mind.

(Y/n) walked forward into another hallway walking past a set of stairs she steeped over a toy a mysterious noise echoed through the hall and Ruby's grip tightened.

(Y/n) looked forward before realising the wrong way "shit." Ruby gently slapped her shoulder "language!" (Y/n) nervously smiled before turning around and back to the stairs and walking up them as they slowly walked up the stairs creaked beneath them.

She began walking over the spread out toys listening carefully for any sound.

(Y/n) stopped In her tracks her (e/c)s widening and fear visible in her orbs, ruby looked up at her older sister confusion spread across her face she slowly turned her around around and held back a scream.

In the dark room near the Christmas tree a set of yellow eyes looking right ahead of them, ruby buried her head in (y/n)s chest.

(Y/n) gently rubbed Ruby's back and letting out a sigh before slowly walking forward she stopped as her (e/c) eyes locked with the golden ones their eye contact was broken when the golden ones disappeared in the darkness (ok this was worded badly 0-0)

(Y/n) noticed they reached a dead end and turned around and began walking back the stairs creaked again as she gently walked down them.

(Y/n) continued walking down the hallway being careful not step on any toys and ruby never let go of her older sister.

After almost stepping on a few toys (y/n) and ruby finally reached their parents bedroom door, (y/n) gently put ruby down and held her hand before twisting the door knob and slowly opening the door.
