Chapter thirty-one

Third person POV

(Y/n) and Esther ran down the hall when they reached the end (y/n) picked up a small metal key.

1/3 keys

(Y/n) found a second bronze key and put it in her pocket and grabbed Esther's hand as she walked down the stairs she looked mr hopp's right in the eyes before looking ahead and down the stairs grabbing a note from the table and reading it out loud.

Do you not see?

This is how it was written to be,

Three must have somebody to play with.

(Y/n) stared at the note 'who wrote this.' She put the note on the table  and went to the door next to where she found the note and tried opening it.

This door has three locks

(Esther) "we have two keys so we need one more and hopefully this will all be over." {(y/n)} "yeah you're right." Esther didn't notice it but there was a hint of sadness in the older girls voice.

(Y/n) and Esther ran over to the living room accidentally stepping on a toy making it let out a loud noise they immediately dived in front of the couch/sofa as mr hopp ran past them to the noise when they were hiding (y/n) noticed a small pink key and recognised it immediately she grabbed it and when mr hopp left she crawled back over to the door Esther right behind her.

They unlocked the door and stood in the kitchen being here brought back memories for (y/n) tears began brimming her eyes again.

Flashback
(Y/n) and ruby stood in the kitchen together (y/n) was mixing the batter and ruby was watching suddenly the young got an idea and grabbed a handful of flower and threw it at her sisters face.

(Y/n) turned to ruby and looked down at her she was covered in flour ruby began laughing her but off (y/n) "alright then you wanna play that game then we'll play that game." (Y/n) being older was able to grab a much more bigger handful of flower and threw at the small girl soon enough the whole kitchen was covered in flour and so were the girls.

They sat down on the floor and ruby wrapped her arms around (y/n) pulling her into a hug.(ruby) "promise me, no matter what we'll always be sisters and we'll always be together." (Y/n) smiled at ruby "I promise."

Present

(Y/n) tightly shut her eyes 'I'm sorry ruby we couldn't keep our promise.' She wiped away her tears and looked down to see Esther holding her hand giving her a sympathetic look, (y/n) smiled at her taking a deep breathe as they walked to the end of the kitchen and looked at the calendar and surely enough it said:

April 18th

They turned around but stopped when a black shadow of a small girl that was around Esther's age stood in front of them (???) "follow me."  Esther and (y/n) looked at each other and nodded as the figure disappeared and they grabbed the handle together pulling the door open together.
