Chapter 9: Meeting The Foster Parents
Jezebel
After we did that I knocked on the door and waited a minute before the door opened and I saw a woman who looked to be about in her late 30s or early 40s
She smiled a warm smile and said "You must be Jezebel come in out of the cold" I hugged Mrs. Hobbs bye and walked in after grabbing my bags
I said "I hope it's okay Mrs. Scottsdale but I brought some boxes from my old house that I couldn't just let go"
Mrs. Scottsdale said "Oh honey call me Carrie and that's completely fine I'll have the boys, me and Mike will help"
I smiled and said "Thank you there are 8 boxes but I can get them later" Carrie smiled and said "Okay great before I start dinner is there anything I need to know about you"
I said "I'm vegan, I don't eat pasta, uhm and I'm allergic to raw vegetables" Carrie nodded her head okay and said "Well Jezebel why don't we go up to your room so you can get settled in"
I said "Okay great show me the way" We were walking up the stairs when a man who looked to be in his 40s came from his office
Carrie said "Hey honey meet Jezebel. Jezebel meet Mike" I waved hi to Mike and continued upstairs with Carrie
She said "You will meet Aaron and Jakob later tonight at dinner but for now let's get you settled"
When we got upstairs we came to a door that was open and led us up more stairs when we got up the second flight of stairs we came to a bedroom that was a really pretty room for an attic room.
It has a King sized bed in the middle and a bedside table on the left side of the bed, on the right side of the bed is a bookshelf, it has a TV stand with a flat-screen TV on the wall at the foot of my bed, it has a desk with a brand new Apple Mac computer on the wall by the door, and then it has a closet on the other side of the desk and then we go through one more door and it's a bathroom with a cute walk-in shower and a cute little sink and a toilet. It's small but then again so am I
I'm 5'5 and I can tell that Carrie is around 5'3, and Mike is around 5'11
Carrie left me to unpack and so I did. I put all of my toiletries in my bathroom and then I hung all of the clothes that I had in the closet
Since I don't have any of my books or anything from the house set up yet I still have room to put some stuff like the art and the photographs on the walls but I don't have much room to put everything
