Chapter 31: So what do you say?

I turned towards Mr. Dales and said "I'm here.. We're here because I made up my mind"

Mr. Dales said "Okay what have you decided"

I turned and smiled at the Scottsdale family who I was about to make either the happiest or the saddest family

I then turned back to Mr. Dales and said "I've decided to be adopted. I want Mr. and Mrs. Scottsdale to be my foster parents and for Aaron and Jakob to be my foster brothers for real"

Mr. Dales smiled and said "Well let's get the paperwork going shall we"

Mike said "Jezebel are you sure" I smiled and said "yea I'm sure just because I lost my family doesn't mean I can't get another one and in a way, I'm kinda glad everything happened the way it did. I mean don't get me wrong I love my family and I always will but if they were still here I would've never met y'all and I wouldn't be able to be apart of this family. I will always be a Camri but being a Scottsdale isn't so bad and besides, I know my family is happy to see me happy with a family who loves me just as much as my family did"

After I get done saying all of that I'm crying along with Carrie

Mr. Dales said "Okay Jezebel now time for the real question. Do you want to keep Camri or change it to Scottsdale"

I smiled and said "I would like to change it"

He nodded and then handed me the papers to sign along with Carrie and Mike

After we all signed he smiled at us and said "Congratulations Jezebel you are now a Scottsdale. You just have to go to the courthouse to change your last name but you are legally a Scottsdale now"

I smiled and said "Thank you"

After that, we left and went to the courthouse so I could change my name

After we got to the court house we went in and I signed the paper after telling the lady what I was there for
