Chapter 32: Name Change

I signed the paper that makes it official

After we left the court house we went and got something to eat

When we got home from eating I went up to my room and changed into my pajamas and then went downstairs to watch a movie with the rest of the family

After the movie was over I went upstairs to my room after telling the rest of the family goodnight and then I went to bed

I plugged in my phone and then covered up and fell asleep

The next morning I woke up not feeling all that well

I yelled for Carrie

When she came into my room I said "Carrie will you check my temperature please"

So Carrie did and I was running a 100.1 fever

My throat was also sore and it hurt to swallow

Carrie said "I'm gonna call my boss and tell them I'll be a few minutes late so that way I can take you to the doctor"

I nodded and then got up and put my shoes on grabbed my phone and went down to Carrie's car she drove us to the doctor

We checked in and then a few minutes later we got called back and waited for a few minutes for the doctor

The doctor came in and said "Okay Jezebel I'm gonna swab your throat and send it off to see if you have strep it'll only take like 5 minutes

*5 minutes later*
The doctor came back in and said "So you do have strep so I'm gonna prescribe you some medicine to help you and you are out of school for a week"

Carrie and I both nodded our heads and then I said "Okay thank you, doctor"

After that, I got a doctor's excuse and then we left

We got back home and I went straight up to the bed and fell asleep when I woke up

I texted the girls and told them I wouldn't be there for the rest of the week and that I would see them next week

I then got out of bed and went downstairs to get something to drink and to try and eat something. I got me a bottled water and some vegan pizza and then went back up to my room

I turned on my TV and turned on Criminal Minds I'm currently on season 3 episode 5 and I couldn't be more in my happy place
