Taehyung woke up early, even before the sun has risen he looked around to see the alpha sleeping peacefully and the chest rising and falling accompanied by soft breathing.

It has been quite a while since Taehyung had slept so comfortably surrounded by an alpha's warmth. It wasn't half as bad as he had expected.

He got up from the bed picking up his robe from where he might have thrown it the night before and stepped out of the room, he have no intentions of waking up the alpha who might have traveled a lot and must be tired the night before.

He was greeted by another shadow knight as soon as he stepped out of the quarters.

Yeji bowed as she made way for Taehyung letting him go to his chambers to get ready.

The sun was slowly starting to rise but the empire was still quiet with only a few night workers on the streets making their way to the home.

" I am trying Lisa ..... I really am. " The tears flow down freely the eyes of omega as she cradled the head of Jungkook in her lap as she use a cold towel to wipe his face to bring down the burning temperature.

Lisa came forward as she gave support to Jungkook's head as she gently nudged Jennie to move before placing his head down on the pillow, " you go out and breath in fresh air come back after you have calmed down a bit your pheromones are going crazy. "

She didn't fight it as she walked out silently off the chamber.

The inside of the room was burning all Lisa wanted to do was to open up the doors and windows and let Jungkook breathe fresh air or let him lay bare in the woods like they used to do back in the kingdom.

But she couldn't dare to let anyone know about it, the charge of treason would be thrown on Jungkook and it would be all three of them who would be executed first even if they barely had any choice in coming here.

And as much as Lisa couldn't care less about her life she don't want her mate or her childhood friend to go through anything bad.

She has to keep it hidden unless she feels that she can trust the emperor with such sensitive information.

But until then she would rather have the emperor forget and neglect Jungkook just like in previous empire songs that they all can live for a long time.

In situations like theirs, any kind of attention is not welcomed.
