I don't care if anyone else sees me.
I want you to see me.When the sun sets in the horizon
It's you I want to share it with.
It's you I want saying how beautiful I look bathed in the sun rays and shades of red. When there is nothing left
When there is no one else to care,
It's your voice I want to hear.
It's your arms I imagine around me, protecting me.All these things I imagine
All these ways I see youIt's because I know you dream of nothing else.
Just the simple things. While the others search for greatness and gold,
You just smile at me
And point at the horizon
Where the sun sets
And the wind begins to blow.

Reckoning
PoetryPoetry & Prose • Book 2 of the Darkness & Light series • Kind of a chaotic, dark work of poetry and prose. Reckoning is the burning down of worlds, the blurring of the lines between darkness and light.
