SHOTS COULD BE HEARD FIRING ALL THROUGHOUT THE PRISON OF ELDERS. The sound of heavy footsteps thudded against the ground as Kate ran across the long and narrow catwalk, taking down any enemies that got in her way. Due to a nasty riot unraveling, she was sent on a mission to regain control over the prison, along with her new team members; Cayde-6 and Petra Venj.
This was actually Kate's second big mission, which was quite exciting. It was only a few months ago that her ghost, Pip, resurrected her from the dead—and she'd already come all this way..working with the top dogs. It took some time for her to adjust to the fact that she's now an undead guardian who wields the power of the light for the Traveler—...honestly, she's still adjusting.
A Cabal Commander, who was a blood infernal, stood in front of the door Kate needed to get into. It raised it's slug launcher at the sight of the oncoming guardian, sending shots of fury her way. But, being the sly fox she was, she dodged it's blows and slid underneath the large creature. Time seemed to go by in slow motion as she gripped onto her Hawkmoon 140rpm hand cannon and shot a couple rounds right up into him.
