KATE HURRIED OVER TOWARDS THE DOOR THE CRIMINALS LEFT OUT OF, but she soon noticed that it wouldn't automatically slide open. Huffing out of aggravation, she began unloading rounds out of her gun into it's system panel, hoping that it would malfunction. And by the grace of the traveler, it did.
She wasted no time as she ran through the door after them. Her eyes landed on a fairly large airship that was starting up it's engine and preparing to take off. She darted across the long platform whilst sliding her weapon back in it's holster. As the airship began to move, she pushed herself to run even faster. She had to catch them. They were picking up some speed, and the ship grew airborne as it lifted off the ground.
In a last, desperate attempt to catch that damn ship, she used her light's power—jumping up high into the air and grabbing onto whatever she could reach. She gripped onto the metal siding and her feet dangled in the air as she seemed to get higher and higher off the ground. A grunt escaped her lips as she used her strength to pull herself up onto the edge of the ship. She took a second to breathe before taking slow and steady side steps with her back pressed against the airship, trying not to fall off.
