Chapter 20: Summer Festival

A/N: The Celestia University is some made up university by me. I was supposed to make Y/N study in Oxford in U.K., but I scrapped the idea.

Y/N was sitting in front of Ningguang in her office.

"Y/N, you're about to graduate in two years. What course are you going to pick?" Ningguang asked

"I'm... gonna be a general surgeon." Y/N said

"Hm... Where do you want to study?" Ningguang asked

"... Celestia University in U.K.." Y/N said

"Overseas, huh." Ningguang said

"W-What's wrong, Mom? Am I... not allowed to?" Y/N asked

"No, it's just surprising that you want to study overseas. What about your friends and Baal?" Ningguang asked

"... Even though I don't want to leave them, I really want to study there. I would've chosen business courses, but I don't think it won't be really needed." Y/N said

"Why?" Ningguang asked

"I can never get to your level." Y/N said

"Y/N, nothing is impossible. Through hard work, anything is possible. But if you want to be a general surgeon and study at Celestia, I'll support you wtih everything I have." Ningguang said

"Mom... Thank you!" Y/N bowed

After school, Y/N was in Baal's house, in her room watching T.V. They watched the T.V. in silence until Y/N decides to speak.

"Baal..." Y/N said

"What's the matter?" Baal asked

"I'm going to study overseas. I'm going to apply to Celestia next year to become a general surgeon. I want to spend my last last two years here with you and my friends. I want to make the most of it before we don't see each other for a very long time." Y/N said

"... Y/N wants to be a general surgeon, but... I want to be a business woman... I don't have to study there just to be one... What if, Y/N finds another..." Baal just puts her hand on her chest

"If you think I'm going to find another woman, you're wrong. As long as you don't find another man, you'll always be mine and I'll always be yours." Y/N said

Baal's eyes widen and she blushes. Y/N also blushes, but he just looks away.

"W-Why are you blushing?! W-We've had sex before and you're blushing because of that?!" Baal tackled Y/N

"But you're also blushing!" Y/N said

"Don't mind me!" Baal said

Y/N and Baal tickled each other for a while before going back to their topic earlier.

"How about, we go to the summer festival together... with our friends tomorrow?" Baal asked

"Sure and let's go on a summer trip next year." Y/N said

"Well, if we split the cost, I'll allow it." Baal said

"... Fine." Y/N said

After a few hours, Y/N was going home now, but Baal stopped him.

"Y/N... Stay with me... even just for a day." Baal said, holding Y/N's wrist

Y/N looked at Baal and could feel the sadness from her after knowing he'll be away for awhile.

"I can stay for as long as you want." Y/N said

Baal smiles and she hugs Y/N. After eating dinner with Baal's family, Y/N was at the bathroom, relaxing in the bathtub. Suddenly, Baal entered and Y/N blushed.
