Chapter 22: Babysitter Y/N

A/N: Another boring chapter. Most of the chapters I'm gonna release until the Culture Fesitval Arc comes are gonna be fillers.

Y/N was lying on the grass at the school backyard as his friends talk while eating.

"Hm..." Y/N sighed

"What's wrong, Y/N?" Diluc asked

"It's nothing. Baal wants me to come over to her house and hangout with her, but it'll include some babysitting too for her little sister who just came back from the countryside. However, I have no idea how to take care of children." Y/N said

"Her parents went on a trip with her four grandparents, her older sister has work too and her brother is left alone in the country side." Y/N said

"That reminds me, Y/N is a cruel and cold-hearted person. Who knows how many times he'll make the lil' sis cry?" Thoma said

"Hey, I can hear you!" Y/N shouted

"Yes! I just can't stop imagining if he was a general surgeon, he would purposely make the surgery fail." Childe said

Doctor Y/N was standing with a tired look on his face in front of a hospitalized kid with his parents.

"Doc, how is my son?" The mother asked

"Is he going to be alright?" The father asked

"Unfortunately, he has to move hospitals." Y/N said

"I-Is it bad?!" The father asked

"Yes." Y/N said

"What is his sickness?" The mother asked

"The Doctor-hates-him disease." Y/N said

"Is what I think he would be." Kaeya said, imitating voices

"That's cruel..." Childe and Thoma said

Y/N smacks the head of the three and walks away.

"H-Hey! We were just joking!" Kaeya said

"Yeah, I know. I'm just going to buy some juice." Y/N said

After classes, Y/N was standing in front of Baal's house.

Suddenly, a young girl who looked like Baal opened the door.

"Baal-nee! There's a scary looking guy at the front!"

"E-Eh?! Why'd you open it then..." Baal saw Y/N standing there with a deadpanned face

"Y-Y/N! You came early!" Baal said

"Yeah, I forgot the keys to my house, so I couldn't change my clothes." Y/N said

"Do you know him, Baal-nee?"

"Yes, Ei. He's my boyfriend." Baal said

Ei stood there with a surprised Pikachu face.

"Woah! That's so cool! I also have boy friends at my school! I have... ten of them, including Scaramouche-nii!" Ei said

"Wh-Wha?! She has a reverse harem and she's at this age?! Not to mention, Scaramouche-! Oh, she must've misunderstood the meaning of boyfriend." Y/N said in his thoughts

"No, a boyfriend is different. You call your friends that are boys, male friends so people don't misunderstand it." Baal said

"Oh... What's a boyfriend then?" Ei asked

"A-A lover..." Baal blushed

"Oh... Can I get a boyfriend too?" Ei asked

"No, you're too young. Play with your toys and friends first! Study too!" Baal said
