Chapter 23: Boy's Night

Y/N was playing basketball with Thoma and their other classmates during their P.E. classes.

"Why are they playing basketball?" Zhongli, who passed by with Diluc asked

"Apparently, they were supposed to be playing pingpong, but the author saw that fanart of Thoma on Instagram and decided to make it basketball." Diluc explained

"Oh..." Zhongli said

Y/N takes the ball and ran towards the side of the court where he noticed Baal watching with her friends.

"This is for you!" Y/N bites his lip and Baal smiles

"Zhongli!" Y/N said

Baal was petrified as Y/N shot the ball. The ball only hit the ring, but didn't go in and bounced to Y/N's head.

"Ow-!" The ball hits Y/N's head

"Deserved." Baal said

"This guy is smart at everything except everything that would anger his girlfriend." Thoma and their classmates said with deadpanned faces

Lunch came and Y/N was eating with Baal who was pouting.

"What's wrong? You seem mad." Y/N asked

"I'm not mad or anything." Baal said

"... Is it about the basketball match in P.E. earlier?" Y/N asked

Baal didn't answer as she ate Y/N's dessert.

"But I did hit a few shots for you. I only said Zhongli's name because I got nervous and I knew I was gonna miss." Y/N said

Baal suddenly kisses Y/N on the cheek, making him blush.

"Thanks for the dessert." Baal said

"Y-Yeah, no problem." Y/N said

"By the way, me and the boys are having a boy's night later... So..." Y/N pointed his fingers

"Yes, you may. But you'll sleep with me for a whole week after that." Baal said

"Wow... Wait, are you sure you won't get mad?" Y/N asked

"Of course." Baal said

"Thanks!" Y/N said, kissing Baal's cheek, making her blush

"S-Stop it! We're in school, you know?" Baal asked

"H-Huh?! Didn't you just do the same thing earlier?" Y/N asked

The two talked for a while before they go on separate ways home. Y/N meets up with his friends in front of the gate with a serious aura around them.

"So, what did she say?" Childe said

"I'm free." Y/N said

They went to Childe's home because he was home alone. Right now, his family went to the country side for the week and Childe's older siblings are working.

"Now then, let us take out the snacks and watch the movies I personally chose for all of us today." Childe said

"And if I remember correctly, we're going to play some games." Thoma said with sparkling eyes

"Of course!" Y/N said

They watched a horror move and they were scared as much as most people are, but Y/N just chose to hide behind Zhongli's shoulder.
