Homeroom was almost over by the time three quite attractive guys walked in.
"Sorry we're late sir, had to check in with all of our favourite teacher friends," The middle guy said with a wink at the teacher.
"Ah of course, you three are back. Well, as a welcome back gift you all can have detention for being late," The teacher responded with a small chuckle.
"But sir we were barely late and we still showed up!" The blonde tried competing back.
This got a few chuckles from the class but they were silenced but a glare from the teacher silenced them.
The bell rang before the teacher could argue back and with that they left with a wink and a small side smile.
"Ugh I have maths methods," I complained to Leah as we walk to class.
She gave me a sympathetic smile. "At least you understand how to do it, I'm in the lower class and don't even understand it. I wish I could be good at maths then we could possibly be in the same class."
"Hey," I give her a slight shove, "If you ever need help just tell me because I would be happy to help you understand it more." I smile at her.
"God your amazing, anyways I have to get too general so cya."
"Bye Lea."
With that we both walked in opposite directions to our separate classes. I hated that I was in methods but I understand it and despite not paying attention, I do really well. I took my usual seat at the back of the classroom and started drawing in my book.
A clap from the front brought my attention back.
"Alright class your usual teacher is away so I will be your substitute Mrs Williams." I rolled my eyes and turned my attention back to the eye I was sketching.
"Excuse me miss in the back?" I vaguely heard Mrs Williams say but decided she would be getting someone to answer a question.
"Miss with the beanie and hood on?" With this I lift my head up to look at her.
The whole class was staring at me and usually I would be embarrassed by this but I was not in the mood for shit like this.
"Can you please remove your hood and beanie; we don't have them on when we are in class." She said then paused for me to take them off.
I kept my face blank but stared her right in the face, not breaking eye contact to make her uncomfortable. "No thanks, I think I will keep it on." With that I went back to my sketch.
Her mouth fell open slightly, unexpected by my response.
"Miss remove them now." She was getting flustered and it was not a good look.
"No," I said, crossing my arms and sitting back in my seat.
Out of the corner of my eye I could see one of the boys who had come into our class late. He was pretty good looking as well. Dark brown hair and green eyes.
I turned my attention back to Mrs Williams whose face was starting to go red from anger. She obviously wasn't used to being treated like this.
She stuttered a bit before screaming, "DETENTION! THAT IS NO WAY TO SPEAK TO A TEACHER! I AM ABOVE YOU! YOU SHOULD BE LISTENING TO ME! GET OUT NOW!!"
My face stayed blank the entire time not giving her the reaction she wanted.
I shrugged my shoulders "Alright then. I didn't want to be here anyway," and started to pack up my stuff.
"Where do you think you are going Miss Sharp?"
God she was still talking.
I refrained myself from rolling my eyes at her and turned to look at her.
"You asked me to leave so I am leaving. Is this not what you meant when you screamed 'Get Out!' at me?" I said calmly.
I left her with her mouth hanging open and walked to the library. God that lady pissed me off. Thinking she was better than me because she was a teacher. What a bitch. I thought as I strolled down the empty halls.
The library was cool and quiet, the perfect place to be when you had a splitting headache like mine. All of the shouting had made it worse and the pain in my body had started to throb. I couldn't concentrate on anything I tried to do and all I wanted to do was nap. Wait, why can't I? I'm in the library and the bell will wake me if not I will just say that I was up all-night studying. With that I closed my eyes are started to drift off.
