Sometimes I feel like I'm floating. Like I'm watching my body from afar, doing things without realising. almost like a trance. My head is in the clouds, thoughts wandering. It's a surreal type of feeling. Scary yet calming at the same time. Not a worry there with you. No thoughts. Just you and nothingness.

It usually mean I miss information, ends me up in trouble, but I can't help it. Sometimes it just pulls at me. This feeling that slowly takes me away from reality. Could you blame me for trying to escape?

I watch as the clouds slowly float by, creating shapes that you have to squint your eyes to be able to understand what they are.

"Miss Sharp, are you paying attention to my lesson?"

"Yep," the lie rolls off my tongue without hesitation. I actually had no idea what was this lady was trying to teach.

"Is that so? Well then would you be able to answer the question up on the board?" Damn.

The heat was sweltering today. Everyone was struggling. The shitty aircon in the school was all you had and really, it did barely anything.

You could say I was certainly getting weird looks with my body being completely covered. Hell, even I was starting to think I could just suck it up and wear something cooler.

"Hey we should get ice cream after school," I turn to Leah.

"Oh yes! I've been craving that all day and it would be a great way to end the week," she nods back.

Turning my focus back to picking at my small protein bar, pretending to make it look as if I've been eating it, I watch as the ants crowd around the dropped pieces.

I watch as one tries to pick up a piece double it's size and struggles. Two more come over and help pick it up with the lone ant. My eyes slowly follow as they carry it into the grass until it is out of my eyesight. Looking up I spot two figures coming our way.

"Awe, what the fuck do these bitches want?" I whine.

Leah looks at me before turning to see who I was talking about. She scoffs and rolls her eyes.

"One word. Drama."

I watch as Mia and Charlotte walk towards us whispering and giggling to each other. They sway their hips as they walk to bring the prized male eyesight to them, but it looks forced.

"How the hell have they not thrown their hips out?" I question Leah who ends up in a fit of giggles watching them.

The two stop in front of us, arms folded, smirks on their faces.

"Oh geez, Leah do you smell that? Something smells like fake ass bitches around here," I pretend to not see them and put on a show, sniffing the air and fanning it away.

Leah follows suit. "Ugh, you're right! Where is this foul smell coming from?"

She starts to sniff around before ending up in Mia and Charlotte's direction.

"Oh, Tweedledee and tweedledumb, we didn't see you there." She says in a sickly sweet voice to Mia and Charlotte. Their smirks now turned to scowls.
