Thinking,

about everything that happened today I felt as if it were a dream, and I'd wake up at any moment. I kept telling myself that but a part of me feels as if everything was all a lie. I never in a million years expected someone like him to come to my rescue, let alone bring me back my book. Maybe he was just being a nice person? Is what I kept thinking about walking home after today's fiasco. Sadly, enough I did feel pretty convinced at the fact that he was probably being a nice person by returning my book and helping me out in a tough situation.

But what kept me up all night was the fact that we kept looking at each other at the diner and he smiled at me. He also took the time to find me just to return a worn-out book, no guy has ever done what he did for me today. And I couldn't help but keep this stupid grin on my face all night long thinking about the handsome stranger I crossed paths with.

I woke up early, only getting about an hour of sleep. The sun was starting to rise, and I could see many colors splashing the once dark sky. I decided to get ready and head out for a few hours before I meet yuna at the diner. She's definitely going to freak out when I tell her what happened yesterday, ugh I need a whole bucket of coffee to survive today, I thought as I made a pot of coffee.

I decided to throw on a shirt that was many sizes too big, and my old jeans, it's not like I'm going to run into the handsome stranger today I thought to myself as I got dressed. I then poured my coffee in my sunflower cup, grabbed my tote bag, and headed out the door.

I loved early mornings, the streets are fairly empty as Roppongi is starting to wake up, I can hear birds  chirping and feel mist in the morning air.

I drank my coffee while skating on the empty street. I decided to go to a nearby park and read until I had to meet yuna. I had finally found a park bench to sit at, and what I liked most was that the park was pretty empty. I then started reading one of my favorites, Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, as I finished my coffee, and the sky was changing colors to a bright blue sky.

I lost track of time, as I was so immersed in my book. Laurie and Jo should have ended up together, I thought to myself. I then flipped my phone open and checked the time and it was almost the time to meet yuna, so I just decided to get to the diner early.

My head felt like it was going to explode, as I couldn't stop thinking about...him. This was ridiculous, I've never thought about any guy for this long unless his name was Leonardo DiCaprio, then otherwise my head was just full of either cats or the desire for more...coffee.

I finally reached the diner and went inside. It was always packed during the day but luckily, I found a booth by the window.

" ~Hey lover girl~ ", Cherry sung as she walked by with a pot of coffee. "So, where's ♥lover boy♥ from yesterday?", cherry said as she poured me a cup of coffee. "Hi cherry..." I said with dread filled in my voice, because I know she's not going to let this go. "I know, I know I'm being nosy, but he was just soooo cute!!!", she said with a beaming smile on her face. "Cherry...nothing happened he just happened to look towards my direction multiple times, which means nothing." I said as I chugged my coffee to avoid conversing with her. 

"That's not what I saw, he was totally into you!" she said as she poured more coffee into my cup, and right as she said that yuna popped out of nowhere, "WHO WAS INTO YOU!!!" yuna practically screamed out loud, and now everyone's eyes were on us...can this day get any better.

"You met a guy yesterday!!! Is he hot." Yuna enthusiastically said as she sat across from me. "Yuna it was nothing okay, he just happened to look in my direction a few times...it doesn't mean anything." I said as I looked out the window. "Oh honey, he ran right out of the diner right after you left, I'm sure that meant something." Cherry said with a mischievous look on her face. "WHAT! Okay you need to tell me everything that happened yesterday, beginning to end and don't leave any detail out." Yuna then said as she stared me down.

After we had lunch, I told her each and every detail of what had happened yesterday, and when I say she wanted every detail, she meant it.

"This is it! You found your Romeo! This is how every romance movie starts off, but why didn't you get his name." yuna said as we made our way out of the diner. "I don't know, but I probably wont ever see him again." I said as we started walking down the crowded sidewalk.

As we kept walking, yuna was telling me about her date last night and all of a sudden, I had to trip over my own feet, as I fell flat on my face. My books were everywhere and honestly, I wanted to die right then and there. Then all of a sudden, I heard a foreign, yet familiar voice call out to me and in that moment, I really wished I could have dropped dead to save myself the embarrassment.

"Wow Shakespeare you literally fell for me didn't you."

I looked up and saw it was him. The handsome stranger from last night. Great just great, I really had to run into him like this, I was a walking disaster. He then bent down to my level and offered a hand. I took it as I got up, and when I got up, our eyes found each other's and for a split moment it felt as if time froze, and it was only the two of us on that sidewalk.

"So, this is Romeo huh?" yuna said as we finally looked away from each other. I then whispered to yuna, "Yuna, do you want me to commit murder right now in front of everyone." I whispered in an aggressive tone; she really knew how to embarrass anyone.

"Hi I'm Yuna! Nice to meet you, I'm y/n's bestie!" she said in a beaming tone. "Nice to meet you." He said as he kept his eyes on me, but honestly, I was too embarrassed to look in his direction. How did he find us? Is all I kept thinking about because he really did pop out of nowhere.

He then leaned down and whispered in my ear, "Y/n huh, well I guess I got your name after all." I could feel goosebumps forming all throughout my body as his lips grazed my ear. My whole body felt like it was on fire, I think I was about to have a heart attack at any moment.

I then started gathering the books that fell out of my tote bag to avoid looking in his direction, I then noticed that he also started helping me gather my books. There was this moment when we were reaching for the same book and our hands just had to hit each other's at that moment and we slowly looked into each other's eyes. This was too much; this only happens in romance novels...not in real life. But I was wrong because it was happening to me right at this very moment.

My heart was beating out of my chest, he was so close that I could smell his cologne, it was intoxicating and addicting at the same time. I could finally see his face clearly in the sunlight. He was so beautiful as if he was carefully sculpted by an artist. He then moved his hand away quickly, as he seemed embarrassed somehow, and I couldn't help but feel sad at the sudden lost of contact.

"Um...here's your books, by the way are you okay? That was a pretty bad fall." he said as he handed me my books. "Yeah, I'm fine, this happens all the time." I said as I put my books back in my bag and avoided looking at him because if I did, something even more disastrous would happen. 

"Wow it's like I don't even exist." Yuna said as she just stood in place witnessing everything that happened. "I should probably go." He said, as our eyes met again. "Thank you for helping me again, you really do show up at the right time." I said as I couldn't help but smile at him. He then smiled back and said, "Well I'll see you when you need help again...Y/n." He said as he flashed me his killer smile and walked away.

"You really are a queen of disasters you know that right?" yuna said as we started walking again.

"I know, but at least my disaster this time helped me meet him again." I said, as I couldn't stop thinking about my encounter with him today...and if I was being honest, I think I was slowly falling for him.
