Friday Barnes, The Biggest Mystery Yet

Chapter 1

Mr Fontana had led the two groups to the field to do laps, no one did the laps so he just called it a day and sat down on the grass. He was tasked in taking care of  both students if the schools and quite frankly hearing double amount of complaints so early in the morning was not it.

Daniel led Friday by the hand to a shady spot, not going unnoticed by Ian whom was containing his jealousy with Patel, Drake and Harvey by his side, waiting for his reaction. Daniel had sat crossed legged and Friday climbed a nearby tree and rested on a branch with her back on the trunk.

Friday looked stunning to Ian, he couldn't keep his eyes of her. But he was still irked about how she felt comfortable with Daniel and wished it were him. Then he noticed that she noticed that he was staring at her. Instead of asking why, as per usual, she simply smiled at him. Friday wasn't the only one that categorised his smiles, he did the same for her. This one was a rare one for sure. He had only seen it once when she talked with her uncle, his beloved step-father, not that he would ever admit it.

This was a genuine smile, not one caused by laughter, or a mask to hide her hurt self, a genuine Friday Barnes smile. But what surprised him the most was her eyes, one of many Friday's unique skills was that she could guard her eyes, not to give away anything, let alone emotion. They were beautiful don't get him wrong, he was mesmerised even before but now they had a softness filled with something Ian couldn't detect.

It was a small moment which just about everyone noticed, Ian natural smiled back but then Daniel noticed and decided to take action.

'Ay, Diablos, come over here!'
Daniel beckons the twins over to him and whispers something in their ears. They both nod and proceed to knock Friday out of the tree so that Daniel can catch her, bridal style.

'Hey Friday, could you come down here with me, I really do miss your singing voice.' he said with a charming smirk. Friday blushed and hid herself in Daniel's chest. Which once again irked Ian.

But then Friday got over herself and nodded her head agreeing to sing.

'Any suggestions or ... yeah.'

Mirabella came to her and asked her to sing break free by Ariana Grande. The two groups got excited, wanting to hear Friday reach those high notes. Friday prepared herself, closed her eyes then..

'BARNES !!!!! Headmaster is calling you to his office.' Parker yelled, then  ran off because he yelled from the rose beds and was now being chased with an angry Mr Pilcher with a shovel.

Everybody awed as Friday made her way to the office, Melanie in persuit. Daniel also made his way  to Ian and his little boy band, and whispered in his ear

'Why must you go after someone who would never love a monster such as yourself, you can have any one in this school but her, cause she is mine, not yours, mine. In case you cannot spell it's M I N E.'

He then looked at Ian with a 'challenge me if you dare' look. However Ian was used to these things. Everyone acted as if Friday wasn't beautiful and they are right, she's indescribable, unique and brave. Ian had used this tactic on quite a few boys and girls who seemed like a threat. That where the rumours for his love began that eventually reached Melanie but never Friday. So all Ian did was give him the 'challenge accepted' smirked. And walked away, knocking poor Drake to the side, who was previously eves dropping.

The wind started to blow and Ian turned, the wind moving his hair like some got anime guy about to fight a war or give an inspiring speech.

'Why would I give up something that I can't live without.'
