5.1. INT. STATE PRISON IN MEXICO - PRISON CELL - PACO YAMILIAZ - DAY
It is morning in prison. The prison doors are opened and the inmates are left out of the prison. Among the Prison inmates is PACO YAMILIAZ.
Paco Yamiliaz is in his 50s. Paco is a cold psychopath. He is a convicted rapist and pedophile and is serving a life sentence in a Mexican prison.
Paco leaves the prison and is led to the visitor's hall where his brother DOMINGO YAMILIAZ is waiting for him.
Domingo Yamiliaz is in his 50s. He is the brother of Paco. Domingo is the more cunning and deceptive of the two. Domingo is opportunistic and thinks of himself as entitled because of his ancestral lineage.
Paco is lead into the visitor's hall. Domingo and Paco hug.
DOMINGO YAMILIAZ
How have you been brother?
PACO YAMILIAZ
Nothing has changed!
DOMINGO YAMILIAZ
Something will change, don't you
worry!
PACO YAMILIAZ
I have been waiting for years for
this change!
DOMINGO YAMILIAZ
I am working on it, this is all not easy!

PACO YAMILIAZ

DOMINGO YAMILIAZ

Never! You are a Yamiliaz and you

DOMINGO YAMILIAZ

PACO YAMILIAZ
What is "he" doing?
DOMINGO YAMILIAZ
He is a pitiful creature who is barely
scraping by. He is miserable one immediately
sees it. His life is nothing compared
to ours! You don't deserve to be inside
here! This judicial system with all their
lawyers and judges live distant from
the people. They don't know anything
about Saints and Holy Spirits.
PACO YAMILIAZ

DOMINGO YAMILIAZ

start planning what you are going
to do with your newly gained freedom!
Paco doesn't respond, he is thoughtful.

5.1. EXT. OPEN-AIR MARKET - ARTURO ORTIZ - DAY
Arturo opens his market in a street, he sells all kinds of stuff! He is cheerful and is singing. Then a woman comes to him. She waits patiently while Arturo puts up the market level, then Arturo notices the woman.
ARTURO ORTIZ
(cheerfully)
How can I help you, sister!
WOMAN#1
Do you remember me?
ARTURO ORTIZ
I think I do!
WOMAN#1
I bought a poncho here last week!
Then I washed it and all its fibers
frayed!
ARTURO ORTIZ
I am sorry to hear that, sister! Did
you wash it in a washing machine?
WOMAN#1
Yes ... No!
ARTURO ORTIZ
Our ponchos are handwoven, they
don't do well when thrown into a
washing machine! We tell every
of our customers to take care when
washing!
WOMAN#1
You didn't tell me!
ARTURO ORTIZ
Do you have the poncho with you?
WOMAN#1
No, I was so upset, I forget it!
ARTURO ORTIZ
When you bring me the poncho, we
can come to an agreement! I will give
you a new one.
WOMAN#1

ARTURO ORTIZ
I will give you your money back, when
you bring me the poncho you bought
here!
WOMAN#1
Listen to me, you crook! If you don't give
me my money back, I will tell everyone
what sleaze scumbag you are!
ARTURO ORTIZ

Some onlookers have gathered around Arturo and the woman.
WOMAN#1

ARTURO ORTIZ

WOMAN#1

ARTURO ORTIZ

you leave!
ARTURO ORTIZ
(to onlocker#1)

WOMAN#1
I want what's rightfully mine!
ONLOCKER#1
She is yelling and everyone is watching!
Onlocker#1 grabs into his pocket and is about to pay woman#1, when Arturo stops him, grabs into his pocket, and gives the woman her money. The woman snatches the money out of Arturo's hand and struts away.
