BLANCA CANO is in her 60s. She is a self-centered, mean, and vulgar woman.

Blanca doesn't respond, she looks at Jaime and Messina with contempt.
MESSINA REYES
(embarrassed)

Blanca disappears into her apartment. Messina is thoughtful and walks with Jaime along.

Flugencio Nunez is in the church and welcomes visitors. A couple walks into the church and takes selfies, while Flugencio Nunez distributes flyers.
FLUGENCIO NUNEZ

The couple starts making out in the corner. Flugencio watches them for a while, he doesn't interfere, he looks at them thoughtfully.
But then ERNESTO RAMOS storms to the couple.
ERNESTO RAMOS is a priest in his 60s. Ernesto is a stout Catholic. Ernesto is Flugencio's mentor.

to the restaurant. The new delivery
arrived, they might need your help!
FLUGENCIO NUNEZ
(embarrassed)

Flugencio leaves the church towards the restaurant while being watched suspiciously by Ernesto.
