Final Author's note

Hello guys!

So...this is it..Selected is now officially over. It's crazy right? Like I've spend practically a whole year updating every weekend and this was a ritual thing for me I guess? I grew attached to the characters a lot and I'm truly going to miss writing this book.

But, besides the writing part, what I loved the most was interacting with you guys and reading your comments and see you vote for each chapter every single week and it's truly heart warming to see so many people liking this book because I put so much effort into it and it feels just worth it. And I absolutely loved how you guys played along with the games and gave, sometimes, hilarious guesses about how things will turn out and it kept motivating me to write more and more. And also to see this story grow each days, going from 500 hundred reads and a few comments and fhssoooouu 146k and still counting, like, this is absolutely crazy and overwhelming and I never would have imagined it'd end up like this

I never thought people would have enjoyed it this much, I mean, I'm just a lone Canadian girl writing a fanfic about Harry Styles on her free time what it so fascinating about that? haha

Also, never would I have thought I'd end up writing 73 chapters, like, for real, what the hell is wrong with me

And most of all, Thank You for reading my story, thank you for giving this book a chance and enjoying it and voting for it. It's been a huge achievement for me and none of it would have happened if it weren't for you, readers all across the world (54,93% come from the USA, that's what Wattpad told me lol). And yes, this story is over but I hope you'll enjoy my other books (which I can finally start now, the wait is over omgggggg) and discover new parts of my imagination and my weird humour so we can start a whole new ride and fall in love with new characters and stories!

Q: What about The Selection by Kiera Cass made you want to write this fan fiction? Is that your favorite book?

> Well, no it's not my number one favorite book (that would be Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen), but I really enjoyed and loved the idea of having Harry into it, the whole concept of The Bachelor but version prince charming. I looked up for any AU of some sort with him, but was highly disappointed when I didn't find any. So I thought, why not write my own instead?

Q:When you write a chapter, how do you feel? Like what transmits you what you write?

> I don't necessarily feel something when I write unless it's a really nervewreking part. Like, sometimes, I get too into my story and manage to sense what the character would feel at that moment and I just try my best to transfer that into words. It's a bit complicated to explain haha, but I hope I managed to make you guys feel the book

Q: Could you make small one shots that talk about the couples in the book?

> That was something proposed by @PhoebeMatieu and I quite like the idea. But I wanted to know what you guys thought of it..Would you like for me to make a separate book with like 4-5 chapters, each one shots about the other couples except Hady? Highlight with your answer!

UPDATE (28/09/16): I've started a mini sequel called "Ever After", give it a look ;)
