Louise walked up to Tristan and Theo who were standing by Juliana's locker waiting for her to get out of class, "Did you see these?"
"Yeah that's why we're here," Tristan said nervously looking around the corner, if you don't know Tristan well you wouldn't be able to tell he was nervous, but he was, very, "Praying she didn't see them yet."
"If she did, it's going to be bad," Paris whispered the last part, joining the group.
"Very," Louise whispered as they saw the girl walking towards her locker, a huge grin across her face, looking like she was on top of the world.
"Hey, guys!" Juliana said ecstatic, much to the group's confusion, "What's going on?" she looked at the group's mixture of worry, confusion and anxiety. When no one answered her she grew concerned, "Are you guys okay? Is someone dead?"
Tristan chuckled slightly watching the girl worry, "No, no one is dead. But someone might be by the end of today."
Tristan handed Juliana the invitation to which she didn't look surprised, skimming her eyes over it and handing it back.
"Didn't change," she whispered swatting Theo off her locker, switching her books to the ones she needs.
"What?" Paris asked confused, what does she mean it didn't change?
"Emily sent one to the California house, and dad sent a picture to me," she explained to the group as realisation hit them, "I also got handed one as I walked in this morning," pulling the invitation out of her bag and shoving it into her locker.
She watched them calm down a little, their bodies becoming less stiff as she shut her locker, "Since you guys are acting weirder than normal, I'm going to go talk to Mr. Remmy about an extension, bye-bye."
She skipped off leaving the group worried for the girl but ignoring it watching Rory come towards them.
"Time to have some fun?" Louise asked the group smirking excited, dragging Madeline with her.
"Fun with what?" she asked Louise who just pulled her behind her quickly, joining some girls who they knew were making fun of the invites already.
"I don't have time for this," Paris sighed walking the way Rory was coming from.
"Hey," Tristin smirked joining Rory, stopping by her locker where she stood.
"What, Tristin?" she asked clearly annoyed.
"I just wanted to say happy birthday."
"It's not my birthday," she told him slightly confused how he knew.
"No, but it will be," he smirked pulling out the card and reading it, "On Friday at 4:03 in the morning, Lorelai Leigh-"
He was cut off by Rory, "What is that?" she snatched it out of his hands, reading it shocked, "Who else got these?"
"I don't know. Everyone in our class, I think."
"I have to go," she mumbled walking past Tristin with the card still in her hand.
"I'll see you Friday, birthday girl," he mocked watching her walk away. Nodding towards Louise.
"That's her," Louise said watching Rory come towards her.
"My parents are making me go," Madeline responds.
"Another obligation party."
"My life stinks," Madeline added as Rory walked past the group looking like she was about to cry.
