ʀᴜɴᴀᴡᴀʏ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ ʙᴏʏ

Juliana and Audrey cuddled into each other watching the horrific sight in front of them. Their shared a blanket covering most of them, acting as their shield as the room went quiet. They waited for someone to jump out, clutching onto each other tightly.

As expected, he jumped out, causing the two girls to scream and spill their popcorn over themselves as their boyfriends sat beside them laughing hard.

"We've watched this movie at least three times," Tristin laughed out at their reactions, "You've got to see it coming by now."

"It gets worse every time," Juliana pouted stuffing her head into Tristin's chest and moving from Audrey's arms for dramatic effect.

"You two are so dramatic," Theo laughed out shaking his head, watching the two girls carefully once he realised what he said.

"Go, freezer now," Juliana instructed, finally finding a way to not get up but also get what she wants, "And bring three spoons!"

Theo got up but not without glaring at the girl, bringing the cartons and dropping them on the two girls along with the spoons.

"You two are going to get fat and then die from all kinds of diseases from those things," Theo mumbled sitting back down.

"Aww," Juliana mumbled poking out her lip and opening the carton, "Sad, truly sad," she scooped out a chunk and shoved it in her mouth.

"I love ice cream," Audrey mumbled as the spoon reached her lips.

"We should try to make it," Juliana's eyes lit up and she spoke her idea out loud.

"Oh god," Tristin mumbled, stealing a bite of the girl's cold desert.

"I got an ice cream thing for my birthday from some aunt," Juliana shot up quickly, debating whether to stand up or remain sitting up. Obviously, she wasn't standing up as the couch-fort thing they have built is way too comfy, "It's called the Musso Lussino or something like that."

"Oh, I saw that somewhere," Audrey said, the whole group ignoring the movie playing on the screen.

"We have to do that next weekend," Juliana begged looking around the group.

When her eyes landed on Tristin's they had a weird emotion swirling around, creating a strange feeling in her stomach as she saw it, unsure what it was about. But the feeling wouldn't go away. Every time she talked about the near future, or any plans they could make, his eyes filled with the emotion.

Tristin thought he was able to hide it well, the feeling of guilt, embarrassment, sadness and shame. He didn't want to worry the girl about the trivial things his father was saying. The suggestions and threats he was making Tristin. He just couldn't tell the girl, it would shatter her.

He kept his mouth shut about it, not even telling Theo, knowing he would tell Audrey, who would go on to tell Juliana. If Juliana was to find out, it would be through Tristin, he was sure of it. Any other way wouldn't be good enough for her. She deserves to find out through him if these threats prove true.

Tristin better hope they're not, or it'll be the end of him.
