'Tell everyone party at mine.'
A phrase Juliana has repeated all day, after her dad has once again gone to Boston. She doesn't hate how he's never home, because it gives her a chance to be on her own, but she feels like he's never home, and she's always alone. One of the only things she wants right now, is her dad to be home and for him to be around for her more.
But as he's not right now, what better is there to do then throw a small gathering for all of her friends?
Paris already declined, as expected, because she's on some mission for the Franklin, which she has been annoying Juliana to join a lot more lately. But Juliana isn't a writer. Yes her essays and reports for english are above average, but she doesn't enjoy them that much.
Obviously, Louise and Madeline were in as soon as the idea of a party was formed, and Aubrey and Theo cancelled their plans to lay around and watch movies all night. Even though Louise is having a party at hers in a few days.
Now Juliana has the issue of inviting people she actually wants there. She already has her main friend group, the lacrosse and soccer kids, her tennis friends and most of Chilton's juniors and seniors. But that's exactly who gets invited already, she wanted someone new. So she pulled out her phone and began to message some random people in between. Skipping anyone who's over the age of eighteen, for legal reasons. Even though this party is far from legal.
Her hand hovered above a name for a second, debating whether to send it, but she did. She typed the message, having a feeling she'd regret it, but sent it anyway.
Thinking she invited enough people, she stopped and placed her phone down. She got up from the very comfy position she was sitting in to start doing her normal party preparations to accommodate the multitude of teenagers she would have around in under five hours.
Madeline and Louise arrived shortly after she started and set up the more fun things, knowing not to get in Juliana's way. They put up some coolers for drinks and filled them with ice. 'They' referring to their monthly sports team boys, this month being the swimmers, who are really kind of very hot, who Madeline and Louise laid and shouted orders at them.
"Is this okay?" one of the boys asked Juliana, referring to the placement of the furniture Madeline and Louise has them moving around.
"Yeah that's great. Thanks Trent," she smiled politely as she pulled down a painting from the wall.
"Let me help," he interjected, lightly pushing her aside to replace her, and brought it down easier, as he is taller and can reach it easier.
"Uh, thanks, again," Juliana laughed as he helped, "Do you mind helping me with some other things?"
"Anything for Juliana Hayden," he joked, as he followed her through the house.
The two put away the same things she always has to, at this point she doesn't even know why they're out, but it doesn't matter. They put everything into the rooms upstairs, Juliana locking all but hers, so she can get ready later.
"Thank you all so much," Juliana thanked the swimmers as Madeline and Louise shoed them out, so they can get ready, and to give them 'Juliana time', "And feel free to come back at nine."
