Jungkook's chest tightened as the other's excessive release of pheromones hit him like a punch to the gut, his breath catching in his throat as his hairs stood on end.

And at this moment, Jungkook realized that no matter how much he despised it, no matter how much he wished he could deny it, the eerie, still gaze that the other possessed would always choke the answers out of him in the most demeaning ways.

A heavy silence filled the air at the words spoken, Jungkook watching fearfully as the elder's face darkened, his eyes flashing a dangerous red.

"Your mate..?" Jungkook's gaze locked with the ground as the Alpha continued, his features contorting with anger, voice full of malice as he spat out his words. "You truly expect me to believe that the likes of you has found their 'fated' pair?"

Releasing a humorless laugh, Mr Park's anger only seemed to deepen as Jungkook remained silent. The boy's smaller, scarred hands simply clenching into fists at his sides, his lips pressed narrowly together as the elders oppressive scent surrounded him.
