Panting heavily, Yoongi felt exhaustion seeping into his bones as cold wind whipped around his ears.

They'd been chasing the Omega for quite sometime because even though Jin is close enough to catch the little guy he keeps allowing the other to get away.

All the while Yoongi lagged behind despite his legs working desperately to keep up with the two wolves that seemed to be playing a game of cat and mouse.

'Nobody has any business being that fast.' He grumbled silently, glaring at the two racing far ahead of him.

Eventually accepting defeat he slowed down, keeping himself at a sustainable speed while holding a watchful eye over his friend's overly enthusiastic wolf.

Jin's paws pressed forcefully onto the ground as he kept pace with the small Omega slipping through the trees as fluid as water. He couldn't help but be amazed, if it weren't for the size difference between them the little Omega would have left him in the dust.

His heart raced with adrenaline as their strenuous speed pushed him further than he had gone in years, inviting his inner wolf to come out and play.

He let the Omega stay in the lead for sometime, chasing him into the densest part of the forest and allowing him to slowly trap himself within the tall trees before rushing ahead.

The smell the fear rolled off the little wolf in thick waves as the Omega glanced over his shoulder and noticed the distance between them closing rapidly.

The boy sped forward in an attempt to lose the Alpha on his heels but it was no use as the thrill of the chase had brought Jin's wolf to the forefront.

Enjoying the dewy scent in the air and the dirt pressed beneath his paws, Jin's wolf bounded over the small Omega with the energy of a joyful pup, landing right before the startled Omega's nose and staring deeply at him with his milky white orbs.

Taehyung felt a shiver run down his spine at the sight and turned back to run in the opposite direction only to be faced with the kind Beta from before, except his wolf didn't look all too friendly.

Tae flinched when he felt a nose nudge strongly at his side, rustling his fur. His body stiff with fear as he looked to the Beta with pleading eyes.

Yoongi gave a short glance at the Alpha and caught the soft swaying of his tail along with the joyous glint in his eyes. Taking them as confirmation of the big guy's good mood he let his body shift.

Bending down low for the Omega, he held his hand out in a comforting manner.

"Don't be scared, he's not gonna hurt you."

The small wolf nodded his head ever so slightly, afraid the Alpha may view his movement as disrespect.

Smiling softly, Yoongi spoke. "Just come to me slowly, alright?"

Breathing deeply, Taehyung tried to settle his racing heart and took a few small, shaky steps toward the Beta but was quickly toppled over, the large Alpha's body now hovering atop his in a playful stance.

Yoongi ran his fingers through his hair, shaking his head in annoyance as he looked at the poor Omega who was currently engulfed by the shadow of Jin's large wolf.

'Of course this would happen, why would life ever be kind to me?'

He was confident that the boy was completely safe with the oversized puppy but Taehyung, understandably, didnt have such faith in the Alpha, his scent revealing the immense fear he felt.
