On the day of the sports festival, Hiraku woke up early since she'd be one of the supervising pro heroes.
She took a bath and dressed in her hero costume, enlarging her body to be her hero persona Asra.
Before going to the school she got breakfast and ate it on the way. She got her usual breakfast which consisted of chocolate chip pancakes and a glass of orange juice.
She teleported to the faculty room where she was told to proceed to the stadium where the freshmen will be located.
"Oh! Asra you're here! Come here!" Midnight had called her over.
"Yeah? Need anything?"
"Can you go and help check the perimeter around the stadium?" Hiraku nodded then teleported to the top of the stadium. She stood above the stadium, eyeing all the guests already approaching.
"It's gonna be a long day." She thought as she proceeded to teleport back down.
She walked around the stadium for almost an hour, it took her long since there were a lot of media that she had to dodge. She didn't like the media that much. Although she was still nice to them, but she didn't think she'd have the patience today.
"Gather' round, Mass Media!" She then heard Present Mic start talking so she decided to go back inside. "This year, all your favorite high school kids will let their youth run free like a bucking bronco once again.." Hiraku grimaced at her friends chosen vocabulary.
"The UA sports festival has begun!" Hiraku looked around, trying to find where she could sit down. "Everybody, ARE. YOU. READY!!??"
"He wasn't using a megaphone, wasn't he?" Hiraku thought as she quickly hid behind one of the tunnels, trying desperately to remain unseen from the media.
"The UA Sports Festival!! Where the hero world's inchoate little eggs and aim for each other's throats —and the Top!" Present Mic continued when Hiraku saw something flew by above the stadium. "Our grand yearly melee!! And let me guess, all you miscreants came to see them, right?? The freshly-formed miracle stars that shrugged off a mass villain assault with wills of steel!!"
Before Hiraku could check out what the thing is she could hear Mic call for her friends." The Department of Heroics freshman class!!! You're here for class 1-A right!!? " She smiled warmly seeing everyone walk in the arena. As Mic continued to call all the other class, she then felt someone watching her. She narrowed her eyes above the arena only for her eyes to land on something that made her grin in excitement."And following class B, here come classes c, d, and e from the department of general education..!! And now here are class f, g, and h of the department of support!"
Hiraku immediately teleported at the top of the arena, her grin only growing at the sight before her.
Before her stood a blonde man, his most distinguished feature were the large red wings behind his back.
"Hey Azuley."
"Keigoooo!" Her eyes lightened up at the nickname that her friend gave her a long time ago.
"Long time no see." She immediately ran to him and embraced the bird man. "I see you've missed me.!"
She broke the hug, her hands on his. "Where have you been? I went to your agency a year ago and they told me you weren't there.!" The bird man chuckled at the girl's enthusiastic tone.
"I was away for a mission. I wanted to visit you, but then when I arrived here I got busy." He laughed seeing Hiraku pout. "Sorry Azuleey!"
"Hmph s'fine!" She waved him off, her eyes then found Midnight who was walking down below. "Ohhh look it's starting!"
