After her conversation with Dabi, Hiraku told Aizawa an excuse about her agency. She told him that she needed to leave, fortunately, Aizawa did not think anything of it and let her leave. Before leaving, she made sure to have a much needed conversation with her boyfriend. Fortunately, she caught Katsuki who was about to go take a bath.
"Kat!" she called the boy who immediately perked up hearing her voice, "Wait up!"
He stopped and faced her with an eyebrow raised, "What the hell are you in a rush for, woman?"
"I need to talk to you."
"About?"
"I gotta leave." Katsuki gave her a questioning look. "There's an emergency at my agency and they need me."
"Okay," Katsuki replied, turning back to continue his walk, but he was immediately pulled back by his arm, "What!?"
"Where's my goodbye hug?" Hiraku pouted. Katsuki narrowed his eyes at the girl as he shook his head with a small smile. "Come now, Katsuki."
He sighed as he opened his arms. Hiraku giggled, jumping towards Katsuki's arms with a huge grin. She hooked her arms around his torso, her face on his chest. Katsuki had his arms around her waist, his face on her hair.
"You're acting weird," Katsuki mumbled through her hair. Hiraku only hummed in response, too comfortable to answer. "Weirder than usual."
"Hey!" she exclaimed while hitting Katsuki's chest, said boy only laughed. She stepped back and placed her hands on Katsuki's cheek with a warm smile. "I'll see you soon, yeah?"
"Okay, weirdo."
.
She could not sleep that night. She felt her guilt eating away at her. Her classmates were getting hurt and she knew.
She knew her boyfriend would get kidnapped and she let it happen. She did not even notice that it was morning until she received a call from an exhausted Aizawa.
She could feel her tears fall at all the information she received. Although she knew what the events were before they happened, she did not know everything about them. Knowing about that fact, made her want to punch herself from the guilt.
After the call, she told Aizawa that she wanted to be alone with her thoughts for a while. Aizawa understood her. He thought that she must have felt guilty, since she left last night.
What he did not know was, she felt guilty, because she already knew what was going to transpire that night. And she ran away. She should not have listened to Dabi.
Wallowing in her guilt, Hiraku did not notice the presence in her room. And when she finally did, it was already gone. A letter on the ground remained from where the villain, Kurogiri, had just stood.
"What the fuck?" she muttered under her breath as she saw the letter addressed to her. Her real name.
She opened the letter, her eyes widening at the content.
"come to me, hiraku. i will tell you everything, for you and i are connected by blood. -AFO"
She could feel her heart beat erratically, followed by a loud ringing noise in her ear. Her breath quickened as she felt herself hyper-ventilate. Large black spots started to appear in her sight. A head ache quickly followed as she held her head in anguish. She was panicking. What the hell is going o–
"Hiraku!? Are you there?"
Everything stopped as soon as she heard All Might. She took a deep breath, stared at the contents of the letter once more, and came to a conclusion.
"I'm here Ji–Jii-san! I'm going out for a while!"
.
She proceeded to go to the address that was written on the letter.
When she arrived, all the hairs on her back stood on edge from the overwhelming presence of evil. She was in her hero persona, all her weapons strapped on her back, but she could not help feeling that she was in serious danger.
"You have arrived." She flinched at the ominous voice. She turned to face the sound, her eyes widening seeing the faceless man. "Ah, you remind me of your mother."
"What the hell are you talking about?" it took everything in her to keep her voice steady. Although she did not look it, she was trembling from the inside. Her mind was clouded with fear.
All For One, the man who had wounded All Might so badly that he could not use his quirk like he used to anymore. If he wanted her dead, she knew that she would be.
"No need for anger, my dear," AFO answered as he neared the tall girl who immediately backed away. AFO let out a deep chuckle at the pro hero's action. "Now, now. There is no need to fear me. As I said, I'm only here to tell you everything I know."
Hiraku did not let her guard down for a second as she stared the man down. She was scared. No, she was frightened. This man was powerful, and she was just a kid.
"Where should I start?" He asked himself as he sat on a large chair in the corner of the room. "First thing's first, lose that wretched disguise. Let me see what you really look like."
Hiraku gulped, not really wanting to do it, but she was too frightened to know what would happen if she disobeyed the man. She immediately shrunk to her true form, her hero costume turning to her UA school uniform.
"One thing is missing."
"No there's not," she hurriedly replied.
"Your hair. It's wrong." Hiraku looked at him with narrowed eyes. She did not know what he meant. This is what her hair looked like. Nothing was wron– "Your hair is white. Not that nasty yellow color."
Hiraku looked at her feet, her mind a confusing mess.
"That's not true! I don't have white hair! My hair is blonde like Jii-san's!"
AFO clicked his tongue as he stood up and approached the confused girl. He pulled her hair, the girl letting out a pained sound. But Hiraku's eyes widened as her hair turned lighter, and she did not want to admit it, but something akin to relief engulfed her entire body. Like she was finally herself.
"Much better," AFO stated, turning back to sit on his chair again. "Now you look just like your mother."
"What did you do?" She stuttered, her hand grasping her hair.
"Oh don't worry, I would never hurt you, Hira."
Hiraku would never believe that. All her instinct were telling her to run away from the man. And she should have listened. She should listen. But she wanted to know. She needed to know.
"Tell me everything."
"No need for that. I will show you, instead."
