Forgotten Birthday

Jesy's POV: I wake up this morning, it's the 14th of June also known as my birthday! I walk downstairs and find my girlfriend/boyfriend/partner cooking breakfast.
"Morning, bubs!" I greet him/her/them enthusiastically.
"Good morning, love" Y/N responds, smiling at me.
"You know what today is?!" I ask him/her/them.
"It's Friday, what is it today?" He/she/they asks, looking at the calendar on the wall.
"Do you seriously not remember what today is?" I ask him/her/them who just shakes his/her/their head.
"It's not our anniversary today is it?" He/she/they ask, raising his/her/their eyebrow. I sigh and walk out. I can't believe my boyfriend/girlfriend/partner forgot it's my birthday, he/she/they never do! I'm gonna check if the girls remember:

Jesminda: Hey girls, what's today?!
Jeed: I dunno, Friday the 14th of June.
Leigh: You and Y/N's anniversary, I dunno?
Pezza: Idk, is it a special day today for you Jess?

I just turn my phone off and yell to my boyfriend/girlfriend/partner "I'm going to my mum's house, Y/N!" I don't even wanna hear a response. I drive off to my mum's house and knock on the door. A few seconds later, she opens up the door.
"Hi, mumma." I greet her and give her a hug. "I've had the worst morning ever"
"What's going on, sweetheart? Also happy birthday!" She asks, shutting the front door.
"You seem to be the only one who remembered my birthday." I admit to her.
"Y/N, Jade, Leigh and Pez haven't remembered? Y/N is your boyfriend/girlfriend/partner and the other three are your best friends, how did they forget that?" She questions. I shrug, frowning.
"Well, your old mumsy will never forget. Lemme just go make a quick call and we'll head out for a treat, eh?" She suggests to which I nod. "I'll give that boyfriend/girlfriend/partner a piece of my mind too" She jokes making me laugh. I wait about 10 minutes til my mum walks out and says "Let's go treat the birthday girl, eh?" I smile and follow her to the car.

We get to this lovely park that's mostly empty so I turn to my mum and ask, inquisitively "What are we doing here, mumma?" She laughs and comments "You just want to know everything, don't you? It's a surprise." I nod and get out the car. Mum throws a blindfold and tells me to "Put it on, I don't want you to see it just yet" I oblige and slip the blindfold over my eyes and walk with my mum to a spot. I can hear the ruffles of people's feet.
"Okay, take it off." Mum tells me, so I do and everyone just yells "HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESY!" My family, friends, the girls and Y/N are standing there grinning.
"Holy shit, I thought you four forgot?" I ask the girls and Y/N.
Y/N scoffs and tells me "How could we actually forget such a important day? Never in a million years!" I walk up to him/her/them and give them a loving kiss. And just then he/she/they get down on one knee and tell me "Jessica Louise Nelson, I adore you more than anything. I want you forever and ever." He/she/they pull out a ring "Will you make me the luckiest man/woman/person in the world and marry me?" I nod, on the brink of tears as this stunning diamond is pushed onto my finger. I pull him/her/them into a passionate kiss as I hear applauding from everyone.
"I love you, Y/N" I tell him/her/them who smiles widely getting up and responding "I love you more"
