Jade/Y/N

Jade's POV:
So, I'm just waiting for my beautiful wife to come down the stairs, I stare at some old pictures of me and her when we was teenagers. One catches my eye particularly, the first photo we took together. She looked the exact same as she does now, beautiful hair and a pair of dreamy eyes.

I begin to hear a pair of heels clicking down the stairs and there stands the woman I fell in love with 12 years ago. She's wearing her new dress and looks absolutely stunning.

"Hey, darling" She says with a smile on her face. I am flabbergasted. I'm just wearing my suit jacket and trousers whilst she looks like a million pounds.
"Well, Mrs Y/N Thirlwall. You look absolutely amazing." I tell her in awe
"You ain't too bad yourself" She replies "You ready to go then, my angel?" I ask whilst getting out of my chair and walking over to her.
"Yeah, let's go!" She giggles, jesus I love this lady so damn much.

At the restaurant:
Y/N's POV:
I'm deciding what I want from the menu when a man probably a worker comes to our table
"Hey, my name's Matt and I'll be serving you tonight!" Are you ready to order?" He asks happily. "If not, that's completely fine."
"Well, Y/N here isn't ready but I'll take the lasagna, please!" Jade replies.
"Okay!" He says.
"May I have the same thing?" I say.
"Sure, drinks?" He asks
"Just Coke please."  Jade tells him.
"Okay, I'll be back with the drinks, enjoy your evening, ladies" He says with enthusiasm and walks off towards to kitchen.
"He seems really nice, eh?" I say out of nowhere.
"Yeah, definitely." Jade says not exactly paying attention.
I look where she's looking and see 2 families watching us two in disgust in the next booth, one woman even tells us to "Hey f****ts! How does it feel that you'll never have biological children?" before laughing with a man. I can just feel Jade slowly getting pissed off, I grab her hand and rub it soothely. "Baby, don't listen to them" I whisper. A waitress overhears the horrible comment and goes to comfront the lady.

"It's just, she's right. We'll never have any biological children." She says, going quiet. I can see a tear rolling down her cheek. "Who gives a crap on what that lady says "I love you and nothing's gonna change that, yes we may not be able to have biological children but if we do go along with our plan to adopt kids, we treat them just like they are our own?" I say calmly. I give her a little kiss on the cheek just as Matt comes back with the drinks.
"What's going on here, if you don't mind me asking?" He asks, gently.
"My wife and I are getting some horrible comments from a lady over there about that we'll never have our own children and it has made her upset" I tell him.
"Dont worry, I've gone through the same thing. I'm in a gay relationship myself. Me and my boyfriend seem to be called homophobic names wherever we go." He tells us "Just know that, despite we don't know each other. I'm here for yous." He smiles comfortly. He hands us the drinks and gives Jade a warm smile.

The waitress from earlier comes over and apologises for the lady. She also tells me that she'll be keeping a close on her and other incidents, we report to her. Her name is Thalia. We thank her for helping.

Jade's POV:
As Y/N eat our meals, I can still see those two families watching us. A voice comes from the same table from earlier but, it's whom I guess is her husband. "You know you are going against god by being gay, God doesn't accept LGBT people and they are a disgrace to this world." He smirks "You two are going to hell whilst us on the other hand are loved by God and will go straight to heaven" I can see in the corner of my eye Y/N filming the man's rant. "It's Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve, f****ots!" I have officially had enough. I get out of my seat and storm towards the couple.

"Who the hell do you think you're talking to!?" I ask, sternly.
"A f****ot! You'll make my daughter a lesbian!" He replies.
I look over at the teenage girl with them, she looks terrified and generally upset. I can see the fear of her parents.
"Honestly, your daughter looks absolutely terrified of you two idiots." I tell him. "What would you do if one day, your daughter tells you that she's into women? You gonna call her a f****t or a disgrace?"
"You have gotta be kidding me, my daughter is not into girls. Me and my wife have already planned a marriage to a man." He tells me, all cocky.
"Dad, that's where you would be wrong. I am homosexual, I've known that since I was 8 years old! LGBT deserve the same treatment as somebody like you two." The teenage daughter butts in.
"What are you gonna do, now. Huh? You couldn't sit there and call your child all those names you were calling me and my wife over there so, I'd watch what you say about LGBT!" I raise my voice.
"Go back to your f*****ot, or I'll get the police and tell them you've been verbally assaulting me and my husband." She tells me.
"Go on then, call the police. I'll stay here and tell them you've been discriminating against LGBT. Like your daughter said, us LGBT people deserve the same treatment as you f*cks." I tell her, sternly. I return to my table and get a standing ovation from everyone in the restaurant who heard my rant including Matt and Thalia whom are cheering loudly.

"Baby that was incredible!" My wife exclaims proudly.
"What can I say, nobody messes with my family!" I respond and kiss her hand.

Jesus bloody christ. 1025 words! (Note, I censored out the f-slur as it is very rude and I didn't want to offend any of you, especially members of the LGBTQ+ community,  it is very sad that this sh*t still happens in 2021. I stand with you guys! 🏳️‍🌈🎊🎊🏳️‍🌈👬👭
