Chapter four- past heart break

Oikawa's POV:

"So why didn't the other new kids come in today?".

"Ohhhhh umm something about rescheduling there days or something, at least the new twins were able to come in and obviously tobio", I nod at suga as I look over a tobio with a conflicting face expression.

"I don't think tobio likes me too much", I say, suga looks at me gone out, "your joking right as soon as you came in he was following you around like a lost puppy", yeah I guess he was, it's probably only because I mentioned i used to play volleyball in high school though.

"Hmmm there's just something about him I can't quite put my finger on, anyway how do you think Atsumu's doing with the twins and his nephew in the same room, he's super protective over atsumu", I say giggling at the thought.

"Ahaha yeah he is, he's like a carbon cut out of his dad, both equally as protective over atsumu", I nod at him in agreement, "hey suga you got the time?".

Suga looks at his watch and says, "4:42 Jesus is that the time it's gone so fast, should we take them out for a little bit before we give them some dinner", suga asks looking outside, I give him a 'are you mad look' as it's raining cats and dogs out there.

He laughs at me and says, "yeah yeah okay", I stand up and stretch from where we have been sitting, "There's only Tendo, ushijima and tobio left anyway should we go up and join atsumu, I bet he could use a hand with them three and Hana as well", Suga said while getting up also.

"Yeah sounds like a plan, alight kids who's up for an adventure", I see the three children look up to me and the only one that reacted.

"yes please!! Where are we going?!", Tendo said while jumping up and down on the spot, I see ushijima look up to him with a confused glance, "how about we go see atsumu, I know you have missed him today", Tendo nods his head frantically at me.

"Alright then Tendo hold on to ushijimas hand and Tendo hold onto mine also, oikawa you got tobio?", he smirks at me with an evil intent, that sly little crow. I turn to tobio who's just staring me down, and it freaking me out because I don't know if it's a bad stare or a good stare.

"Uhm yeah I got him", I hold my hand out for him to hold but he ignores it and holds his hands up for me to carry him, "you want me to carry you?", he nods at me and stands in front of me still with his hands up.

So I pick him up and he rests his hands on my shoulders, "you don't talk much do you tobio", I say while looking at him, he shakes his head at me and rests his head on my chest.

*ding dong*

"Suga who is it?!", I say shouting out to him because he's in the corridor, he practically comes running in with a smiling Tendo and cold faced ushijima, "you have to answer it", he says very quickly.

"Ummm why?", I see him try and look for a reason as to why I should, "because I'm older that's why", is he 12, "you literally 1 month older than me".

He waves his hands that still have the two children's hands in, "doesn't matter all I need you to do is open that door, you'll thank me for it one day", I look at him weirdly, "okay which parent is it though".

"It's tobios dad now take his bag and go", he says while pointing at tobios bag on his peg, " fine fine, your daddy is here tobio", all he does is nod awww poor guy must me tired.

I grab his bag and head off out the pre-school room door, suga waves with the Tendo's hand in his and smiles, what's got him all smiley?

"You tired little man?", I feel tobio nod into my chest and I sigh at him, he is quite cute bless him. I walk over to the front door and open it up, "hey you must be tob- oh my god".

"Tooru?", I'm frozen I can't move, what is he doing here, wait he's- omg he had a kid. What the fuck he looks so good, god he's changed so much.

"Tooru? Is that really you?", I look to his face, I feel like crying, screaming almost, he shouldn't be here why is he here.

Pull yourself together Tooru just hand tobio over and shut the door. He looks at me with a confused face, "oikawa... don't act like you don't know me".

Tobio looks up at me in my arms, and I look down at him, no wonder he looks so familiar he looks like her. I look at haj- iwaizumi with a broken look, I scratch the back of my neck, "didn't know you had... a kid".

I say putting tobio down and handing him his bag, "well maybe if you didn't up and leave without telling anyone then you'd know", is he fucking joking right now, does he even know how hard it was to stay there when he was... he...

I grit my teeth and put on my best fake smile, "yeah well things change, anyway hope you have a good evening tobio", I say giving him a pat on the head, he looks at me and walks in front of me.

I give him a sliver of a smile, "goodbye oikawa sempi", I look at him trying to hide my quivering bottom lip, okay if I don't get out of here I will break down in front of then both, "goodbye tobio", I stand up and turn in my spot.

But I feel a hand grasping my elbow, "are you seriously going to ignore me oikawa", I take a deep breath and turn around, "yes, yes I am", I say yanking my arm away from him.

"look we don't have to be friends, I'll just be your sons teacher nothing more, because I know how much you hated being my friend before so I'll save you the pain".

"What the hell are you talking about oikawa?", I turn and walk away for real, but before I do I look to him one last time before closing the door, "you know exactly what I mean, I hope you have a great rest of your night... Mr iwaizumi", and I close the door.

I make a b-line for the toilet and shut myself in, what is he doing here? I thought he was back home with her? And he had a kid!?

I can't breathe, why can't I breathe, what's happening to me, my chest is so heavy and my throat is becoming dryer and dryer. Am I dying, I feel like I'm dying, god why is he here, I moved away for a reason, why do we always find each other in the end.

What's that sound? God everything sounds so muffled. Who the hell is shaking me I can't even see them everything is so blurry, "wa", what the hell is a 'wa'.

"Oikawa!", i reach out to whoever it is and cling on to them. "I- I can't", I try and speak but nothing barely comes out, "oikawa your having a panic attack try to calm your breathing, it's suga tsukishima is going to take you home okay, kiyoko is covering for you".

"Hurts", I choke out, "I know, I'm going to get you home", I just nod my head.

"Can you stand? Here grab on my arm, want me to ring anyone?", I nod, I shakily stand up with his help, "call my sister", he nods at me.

I was so happy here, away from them, even for a while I forgot the pain I felt when I saw them together, or how he broke my heart.

Is it so much to ask for to just be happy. And now I have to see him on a regular basis, great my life just can't get anymore worse.

Heyyyy just wanted to let you know I have no upload schedule so like I'll just add new chapters when I feel like it, but I'm already working on another one so the next one won't be long.

The next one will be a mix between atsumu meeting komori and Sakusa again and the aftermath of the iwaoi interaction.
