"y/n, shouldn't we go buy dinner? i'm hungry." baji groaned, and this is atleast the fifth time he begs you to buy dinner together but you were busy reading.

"right, one more chapter, kei." you said; bringing your finger to flip the pages as your eyes were glued to book, reading it's inside carefully.

baji took out his hand and reached for the book before snatching it away from you; throwing it across the room.

"kei!" you said in surprise.

"would you rather me burning this whole apartment or we go buy dinner?" he ticked his eyebrows.

"fine, just let me get changed into something proper." you sighed; getting off from the couch.

you were about to go to your shared bedroom to get changed, but baji quickly lifts you up as he carried you bridal style.

"i don't have time for that."

yes, you were about to buy dinner together, 30 minutes ago, and now baji's holding two skateboards in his arm. he said he was about to go to the toilet but now he's back with something in his hand.

"y/n, look, i brought some skateboards." baji smiled as he showed them proudly to you.

"where the hell did you get this?!" you said in confusion.

"there were two skaters earlier and they gave it to me." he shrugged, you knowing he probably forced them to give it to him and in result; they ran away due to how scary his aura is.

"you said you were hungry." you raised an eyebrow, crossing your arm as you looked at baji lazily.

"i am, but this skating is fun." he cheekily smiled; handing one of the skateboards to you as you gladly accepted.

you put the skateboards to the ground; baji doing the same. you've played skateboards before, but you weren't that good at it. baji balanced himself on top of the skateboard before putting one of his feet in the ground and skate away.

"kei! don't leave me alone!" you said, quickly balancing yourself on top of the skateboard and skated to him.

it was fine at first, and it's actually fun. the adrenaline rush you felt while skating is thrilling.

"kei, look!" you looked to the side as you showed him how amazing you are at skating.

"y/n, a tree!" baji pointed to the tree beside you.

you looked to the side, almost hitting the tree. you closed your eyes, waiting to feel the impact but you only felt an arm on your waist, lifting you up and pulled you back so you wouldn't hit the tree.

baji fell backwards, with your back facing him as you fell on top of him.

"be careful next time!" he said.

you got up as you brushed your sides, looking at baji who's now sitting on the ground.

"i'm so sorry. you don't have to do that." you panicked, pulling out a hand to help him up.

baji got up as he walked to the tree.

"god, who put the tree here?!" he pointed angrily.

"it's my fault for not being careful, leave the tree alone." you giggled, playfully rolling your eyes.

"well i'd rather be the one hurting than you are." baji said as he walked closer to you, kissing your forehead after. "should we go get dinners now?"

"peyoung yakisoba?"

"you know me."

both of you sat on the staircase after buying some peyoung yakisoba.

"this side for me and this side for you." you said, handing some chopsticks for him as you both shared the peyoung yakisoba.

"wait, no no, mine's on that side. that's the side that i always have when i share with chifuyu." he protested.

"sucks to you but you're eating with me now." you grinned, eating the peyoung yakisoba quickly.

both of you were done eating after a while and decided to head home. it was pretty late and it's pretty cold out.

you were slightly shivering, and of course, baji noticed. rather than giving you his jacket, he lets you walk a bit ahead of him before he pulled you and hugged you from behind, wrapping his arm around your neck.

"kei? what are you doing?" you asked.

"you're cold right? be grateful i noticed." he playfully rolled his eyes as you turned around and hugged him back.

you rested your head on his chest, hands around his waist.

"kei, you're going to have a fight with touman tomorrow, right?" you lifted your head as baji's hand is now stroking your hair.

"mhm." he hummed.

"be careful, yeah? i don't want anything bad happening to you." you said; bringing your hand to his cheeks as you kissed his lips.

despite the weather outside, his lips felt warm and soft.

"of course, i wouldn't want my future wife to be worried." he joked. "god, you made my heart beats like crazy i could just burn this whole world down."
