usual rainy days // h ran

yes, just like the title, you thought it was just another usual rainy day. you and your classmates were just hanging out at the cafe when suddenly a rain came by. you were running late for school this morning, so you didn't bother to bring an umbrella with you.

"forgot to bring your umbrella again?" ran said in a teasing manner.

"gosh you scared me!" you said, playfully hitting his chest.

"you have no choice but to share an umbrella with me right?" ran said as he rested his hand on top of your head.

"who said that i'm going to share an umbrella with you?" you rolled your eyes.

"the rain doesn't look like it's gonna stop any sooner. well, i don't accept any rejection so wait here while i grab my umbrella, yeah?"

you slowly nodded as he ran to the locker room to get his umbrella. you took out your phone as you saw a message from your friend saying how sorry she was since she gotta be home quick to do some errands.

minutes passed as there's no sign of the boy coming back. you sighed as you stretched your arms before deciding to catch up with him because your mom might even kill you if you go home late.

you jogged to the lockers as you saw a glimpse of him.. and another person. you were all ears, ready as ever to listen what they're talking about.

"you liked me?" ran said, his tone saying his slightly surprised.

"for a while.. yeah. you were very cool and you helped me a lot! i thought you liked me back and maybe i have a chance with you." 

"woah, woah. i think you get the wrong idea- wait i think someone's there."

crap. you quickly covered your mouth and ran away silently from the sight, not wanting to create any trouble.

ah, yea. you liked ran for a while now too, but you can't help but feel jealous of how much people has a crush on him. he was close yet unreachable..

you grabbed your back and put them above your head, deciding to just ran home instead. they'd probably went home together. or at least that's what you thought.. right?

ran, of course, saw you running back home from afar. he quickly grabbed his bag either and opened the umbrella in his grasp, catching up to you.

you ran for a while, before finally stopping down to catch your breath. ah, your books would get soaked if you don't go home quickly.

"y/n, hold on!" ran said, behind you as it feels like the rain stopped around you due to ran holding the umbrella above your head.

you were surprised by his presence, thinking he wouldn't have catched up with you. to be completely honest with yourself, seeing him kind of.. hurts your heart? it's probably that jealousy inside of you. 

even you, fell to his charms. he was just too.. charming.

you got up again, ready to walk away before you felt a pair of arms snaking around your waist, stopping you from running any further as the umbrella fell the ground.

"god can't you wait a little longer?" he said, his breath could be filled on your neck.

the weather is indeed cold today but somehow his presence warms your heart.

"ran, let go." you said, pushing his hand away from you as you took the umbrella that had fallen.

"yours." you said as you handed him the umbrella, he doesn't take the umbrella directly, he placed his hand on top of your grasp so you wouldn't let go of the umbrella too.

if you were sick he'd felt like it's his responsibility.

"i don't know if it's just me but are you avoiding me because you're jealous of the confession earlier?" 

your face tinted bright red just after he said those. sometimes it scares you how he could read you so accurately.

"i'm not." 

"i wish you could see how cute you are when you were blushing. it's tempting me to kiss you so badly." he said, he lifts up your chin with his finger as his face grew closer to yours.

"you can if you want?" you teased back.

without any hesitation, his lips met yours passionately. he had been longing for this for a long time. in his eyes, you were the only one in your world, yes he does gets many confessions but all these time he was just waiting for you to confess with him.

his greedy for your lips- as if he's addicted to them before he decided to hold himself back since you're both in public. he pulled away after some time as you saw a faint blush in his cheek.

it feels like the world were only filled with you both, no one else there to disturb. the rain felt like it stopped, as all you can hear is his voice and all you can feel is his touch. not only he filled your heart, he filled your whole mind too. you're crazily in love with haitani ran and he's crazily in love to you, and only you too.

"so are we going out now?"

"yes, of course."
