hello guys, sorry for not updating for some time :(( i wasnt feeling my best but here's a new chapter! <3

the leader of the tenjiku came back to school, to find a certain note that is neatly placed on his locker. he picked up the note as he opens it slowly, quickly knowing whose it's from from the beautiful handwriting.

he smiled, knowing you're the one giving the letter to him before you jumped out of the blue, scaring the heck out of him.

"izana! I brought some breakfast for you, you haven't had one, right?" you said, keeping up your usual smile as you handed him the box.

he quickly shoved the letter you gave to him inside his pocket as he took some onigiris that you neatly packed for the guy.

"how'd you know i'm going to school?" he rolled his eyes as he lazily eat the onigiri.

"instincts. how is it? do you like it?" you said, having high hopes since you put so much effort to it. your eyes were shining brightly, izana was almost absorbed by how pretty your eyes were to him.

"no. it tastes like trash." he shortly said before he walked away, keeping his hands to his pocket.

hearing his response, you lowered your head, muttering some words.

its okay, i'll try harder next time, yea?

it's normal for izana to be harsh to others, but sometimes it still stings, although he doesn't mean what he said..

----

"y/n! are you ready for today's chemotheraphy?" your mother said, grabbing her car key from her purse as she opened the car door for you to go inside.

"do i have to, mom? it feels uncomfortable.." you sighed.

your mother smiled as she gently strokes your hair.

"just a little more, hun." your mother smiled.

yes, she does kept on her usual smile everyday but you knew there's always pain tinted in her smile. she's hurt to see you like this and all.

you were in fact, tired too. you don't even knew how much longer you could keep this up. you wanted to give up, but you knew you couldn't either.

you arrived at the hospital shortly, your mother made an appointment earlier so it didn't took some time for you to finally meet the doctor.

----

aight im just gonna skip to a few days after ;)

the atmosphere was different, the chemotherapy wasn't going as well as everyone thought. you hadn't had the energy to go to school, so you had excused yourself from school. you spent all day watching tv shows from the tv at your hospital room.

your phone hasn't been touched at all for a few days now, your phone was loaded by messages from izana, asking where you were going since you weren't even going to school.

ah, he wanted to say how he misses seeing your smile every morning, missing your foods that you neatly packed for him every morning, but gosh he was gullible.

"y/n, i hope you're ready for another chemotherapy today." your doctor said shortly before excusing himself outside the room again.

you sighed in defeat since it's one of the things that are keeping you alive right now as you took your phone, checking some messages from your friend.

your eyes lit up with the name 'izana' in your phone screen as you quickly tapped on the notification without hesitation.

seeing his messages, asking where you were. your fingers moved itself and typed out an answer. yes you were tired and you felt weaker than ever, but it's like izana is giving you some type of power.

"sorry, i was busy taking care of my mom.. she's sick. i'll come back to school soon, don't worry about me! i'll make you soo many foods so wait for me!"

ah, little did you both knew, it was your last message for him.

you finally gave up your life, after some sufferings, you were finally free. not only did it shatter your dream, it took your life too. but it's time that you rest peacefully now.

izana heard the news from your mom, and he was faster than sonic to went and see you for the last time. seeing you covered with a white blanket, his trembling hands peeked open to see your face for the last time ever.

his tears were threatening to come out any second now, his heart were clenching so much to the point breathing is already hard for him. you, out of everyone, whom he would sacrifice his own life to protect you, is already lifeless in front of his own eyes.

seeing how peaceful you look, it made him a tiny bit relieved. at least he knew you woulnd't had to see how cruel this world is. he had been given a chance from the universe to look out more to you, but once again he had missed the opportunity to do that.

if only you'd be honest to him that you were suffering, he'd do everything in his capability to help you, and he'd finally be honest with his own feelings, cherishing every second with you.

but what would regretting all of this change things? he knew no matter how loud he screamed, how many tears he wasted, it wouldn't change a single damn thing.

maybe your death doesn't affect the world, but to his own little world, it's like half of them were gone the second you took your last breath.

he promised he'd join you soon, if the universe doesn't allow you to be with him in earth, then he's willing to be anywhere, as long as it's with you.

as long if it's with you, he's always at home.
