you rubbed your eyes as you adjusted them to the sunlight that crept inside your room from the window, filling your room with it's brightness. you stretched your hands out as your eyes adverted to the clock,  as it shows 7 am.

you widened your eyes in surprise as you quickly made your way to the bathroom and changed into some proper clothes. you took some art supplies inside your tote bag before running outside your rented apartment.

you ran to the bus station as the bus just arrived on time, you quickly got inside, knowing you'll at least be 15 minutes late to the campus.

"y/n, late again? this is the third time this week." 

"sorry, i wasn't getting enough sleep lately so i always woke up late AND my apartment is really far from the campus."

"why don't you rent the ones near the campus anyway? and they also provided a dorm."

"the dorm is too pricey, and the apartment near here are all rented."

"that's too bad for you. you should probably talk to your parents and consider living at the dorm instead. you could get kicked out if you keep being late!"

"i know, i know. i was thinking to talk to them about it too."

"as you should."

yep, you actually had the talk with your parents and instead of your parents letting you live at the dorm, they actually told you to live in an apartment with her friend's kid who studied in the same campus as you, just a different faculty.

you have to agree, it's rare to find an apartment near the campus and you can't afford being late again. so you have no other choice.. right?

and that, you've packed your things and put them neatly on a suitcase and a few boxes of art supplies. took you a while to get to the apartment but being a independent women you are, you arrived in front of the apartment in no time. 

you rang the door bell, and a cutie just showed up, oh, it's your luck but you thought you must've been going to the wrong apartment number.

"uh, sorry. i think i went to the wrong one."

"are you y/n?" he suddenly asked.

"yeah..?"

"ah, your mom told me about you. come inside."

you really just used up your one year luck to start living with a cutie like this, right?

"thank you. i'm gonna go place my things and go out to eat-"

"no need, and stop being so tense. aren't we friends since junior high?"

junior high..? took you a few second to finally realise who he is.

his eyes were as pretty as back then, he let his hair grew which just made him prettier than ever. those lazy eyes as ever, never fails to caught your heart all over again. his whole existence is just mesmerizing.

"wakasa! it's been a long time, you've changed so much!" you said, a smile lits up to your face as you dig in to a hug.

you were in his embrace as his hand gently strokes your hair, remembering how you always loved how he strokes your hair.

all those little things of you, he would never forget about them.

"that's right. i've bough some foods today and we could watch a movie and catch up with each other." he smirked.

"hmm.. great idea. scary movie?"

"you're brave enough to watch one?"

"you're doubting me?"

"are the monsters gone yet?"

"seriously wakasa? you acted like a 'brave' bud and now you're just squeezing the heck out of me because you were scared."

"sorry." he said, loosening his arm around your waist before tightening them again when there's a jumpscare scene.

his hand snaking around you made your heart flutter, and his breathe on your neck when he was looking away from the monster- it's definitely not good for your heart.

"okay- enough for today. i can barely breathe." you said as you reached out to the tv remote and turned the tv off.

"crap, i forgot. i had a meeting 15 minutes ago." he cursed as he looks at his phone, typing something.

"what meeting?" you asked in a curious tone.

"gang meeting." he replied shortly.

man, your mom would scold you if she knew you were living with a DAMN gang member. moreover, he's a gang member but he's scared of scary movies.

okay, aside of being scared, you find it quite impressive how he's literally involved in a gang member but the campus know nothing about it, not trying to find out. and how he could keep up with how busy the campus is but still doing quite well in his studies.

"you should go now.. right?" 

"i'm too scared to go, i just wanna sleep but it's scary to sleep either. can you accompany me?"

you looked at him in disbelief- knowing you have no choice either. knowing him- he'd keep annoying you the whole night. if he can't sleep, then no one can. but little did you know, it was just one of his ways to get close to you.

ah, he was crazily in love with you since junior high, and meeting you all again was one of his wishes. he acted like he's okay with you around but his heart were beating like crazy.

you caught his eyes, and he made sure that he's not gonna let you go from his eyes again.
